The issue in ITIM buses is mainly due to the any network glitch between WAS and Database server, which blocks all the requests from ITIM. And ITIM keep blocking all new requests till the time previous requests have not been cleared from WAS which is present in the form of Translog ( from all the servers of the clustered nodes). Whole process requires complete restart of WAS servers and ITIM Database. This is more frequent issue in Windows environment than Linux\Unix environment. IBM should look into this as it is known issue and should provide some permanent fix for this.
