Efficiently blocks unwanted websites from laptops but also blocks information from the websites
One problem I'm facing with K7 is that if it blacklists a website that I need, I have to ask my admin guy to unblock it. When we whitelist it, I have to manually update my policies on my laptop for the change to take effect. I want it to reflect automatically when something is done from the admin side. I shouldn't have to update K7 case and policy settings manually.

Automation has reduced alerts and freed the soc team to focus on faster incident response
Regarding mean time to respond, the improvements I see with SentinelOne Singularity Complete are that genuine files also get alerts. We are getting false positives, but we are also getting genuine true positive alerts. The improvement will be deep visibility because as I am using Splunk as a SIEM, I compare deep visibility with Splunk, but deep visibility has limited access with only a 14-day policy to retain logs. The improvement will be in overall policy management. The third point will be the complexity of policies. If we want some endpoints to use only USB or if we need to block USB on some points, the policy management is very complex. The fourth point will be that Mac OS and Linux don't have the rollback policy; that policy is only for Windows. These four points are improvements if SentinelOne Singularity Complete can address them. Data privacy and security when utilizing Purple AI is crucial for SentinelOne Singularity Complete, and SentinelOne Singularity Complete lacks in data security. Data security is very important in this world. In my organization, if we deploy SentinelOne Singularity Complete and we have integrated all the firewalls, all devices, and AWS devices to SentinelOne Singularity Complete, logs will be forwarded to SentinelOne Singularity Complete through SentinelOne Singularity Complete. However, SentinelOne Singularity Complete doesn't have data security solutions such as Forcepoint DLP or 48 layer; SentinelOne Singularity Complete doesn't have that DLP solution. From the data security point of view, SentinelOne Singularity Complete is not good.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"It has its own model to decide whether a website is trusted or not."
"The most valuable feature of SentinelOne Singularity Complete is the STAR Rules."
"The terminating or killing remediation process that they use is top-notch. Pretty much anything that is even remotely malicious gets blocked by it within seconds. That is important for us. We have thousands of endpoints with tens of thousands of users. It is hard to do good security for that many people without some kind of automated detection and response. That is what SentinelOne does for us. It helps us automate that process."
"The offline protection offered by SentinelOne Singularity Complete for my devices is valuable."
"The deep visibility is really important for us. With it, we can really look deep into some of the incidents."
"We love the API. We use it to generate robust reporting, and we also developed tools to perform agent actions remotely without needing to provide all IT staff with console access."
"The solution offers very rich details surrounding threats or attacks."
"The solution is extremely stable."
"The GUI is really easy to use."

Cons

"But blocking websites also means blocking information."
"SentinelOne Singularity Complete takes up a lot of memory in Google Chrome, which sometimes causes it to lag, so this is an area for improvement. The solution could be improved by increasing its efficiency within the web browser."
"Ranger does provide me with visibility of the network, but not completely because the assets it scans are often mistakenly identified regarding what type of device they are."
"There is not much focus on the on-premise solution as the license cap is so huge for small and medium-sized institutions."
"The previous vendor had a lot more features and capabilities under the license. For example, I lost DLP as Sentinel One does not have DLP."
"Sometimes, SentinelOne Singularity Complete takes time to reflect on some machines, which could be due to poor network connectivity."
"I've had some issues with the specific agents, however, we are moving off of that particular OS that we were having issues with. Other than that, it's been a pretty solid tool."
"The improvement could be in terms of reducing more noise and continuing to cut that down. AI seems to be the big thing with Purple. We are excited to get our hands on that."
"Singularity Complete's process stream has room for improvement."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"The price of Singularity Complete compared to some of its competitors is competitive."
"My understanding is that we did a pretty good deal on SentinelOne. A part of that is because we were their customers very early on, and we also use their products a lot. We are interested in the new products that come out. We go to their demos, and we go to their events. We do save a lot of money. It is not cheap, but it is worth it. We spend a lot of money on a lot of things, and most of them do not do as much as SentinelOne."
"The pricing for SentinelOne Singularity Complete is competitive."
"The pricing was very similar in terms of its competitors, but I believe SentinelOne's capability and willingness to attract new business allowed us to save some extra money."
"I do not know much about the pricing. What I do know is that the person who negotiates most of the pricing is quite a hard bargainer. In that regard, he often says that he managed to get a very good deal. When we first looked at replacing our old system with Singularity Complete, its price was definitely a big factor. Back then, Singularity Complete was fairly new to the marketplace. We got quite a good deal as an early adopter. They have honored that and respected that we were an early adopter, and I feel we are still getting a very good price."
"The one I use is $6 a month per device. Some are $4 and there are some that are more than that."
"It is very competitive with other solutions that are on the market. At least the last time we renewed, it was very competitive."
"Overall, it was a good experience. It is pretty easy for us to increase the number."
