What needs improvement?

One of the main problems was the publication of the packages, where if you wanted to modify a publication, it was renamed. The other problem is that when you want to generate a copy of the job, you had to redo the mapping between the source and destination.

For how long have I used the solution?

I've used it for nine months.

Db2 provides good security and reliability. It's an enterprise database and supports large quantities of transactions at one time. There are many features that make it a very good database.

What needs improvement?

The biggest problem here, and it's not just with IBM, is always the lack of documentation and particularly in Spanish.

The initial setup isn't completely straightforward. Deployment time depends on the size of the company and the complexity of the customer's use case.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

Db2 is a very expensive database. In comparison to Oracle, for example, where the cost depends on the size of the implementation. For an enterprise database, the cost is mid-range.
