Product Support Engineer at a tech vendor with 1,001-5,000 employees
Centralized password security has protected sensitive data and simplifies multi‑app access
Pros and Cons
- "Keeper Enterprise Password Manager has positively impacted my organization by preventing information from being received out and making it easier for users to access their passwords securely without any issues."
What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Keeper Enterprise Password Manager is for password security across the enterprise and ensuring that things are secure.
A specific example of how I use Keeper Enterprise Password Manager to secure things in my organization is by providing an outlet for users across multiple applications to have their passwords stored securely.
How has it helped my organization?
Keeper Enterprise Password Manager has positively impacted my organization by preventing information from being received out and making it easier for users to access their passwords securely without any issues.
It has made things considerably easier in that instead of users using notepads or notes on Mac or Windows machines, it is more secure and gives them an option so they do not have to know all their passwords. They could just log into Keeper Enterprise Password Manager and it fills automatically, which saves time, especially if you are using multiple applications.
What is most valuable?
The best features Keeper Enterprise Password Manager offers are Single Sign-On and authentication, which makes it difficult for other users to potentially hack in.
Single Sign-On and authentication have helped my team because it is helpful in case a user changes their cell phone. As an example, I can reset the Single Sign-On authentication as well, making it more secure so that other users are not able to access that same account going forward.
What needs improvement?
I have no suggestions for improvement as I think it is a great application.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Keeper Enterprise Password Manager for multiple years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Keeper Enterprise Password Manager is definitely stable.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Helps with password management and sharing
Pros and Cons
- "I like the tool's keyword editor and SSO."
- "Keeper does not provide password management for mobile apps."
What is our primary use case?
We use the solution for password management and sharing passwords. It's mainly for password security.
What is most valuable?
I like the tool's keyword editor and SSO.
What needs improvement?
Keeper does not provide password management for mobile apps.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been working with the solution for a couple of months.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
We haven't faced any downtime.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Keeper is scalable and we have about 500 users for it. We use the product daily. At least 150 people use it extensively daily.
How was the initial setup?
The tool's setup was easy and we have deployed it on the cloud. The deployment was quick and we completed it in less than a week. We have two teams one in the US and another in India. We first implemented Keeper in the US, got feedback, and then implemented it in India. The overall deployment took about four months to complete.
What other advice do I have?
I would rate Keeper an eight out of ten. It had all features that we wanted. The time taken for scaling up and knowledge transfer was zero.
If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

Chief Architect at Wefox
A barely scalable solution with limited availability
Pros and Cons
- "A useful solution for storing encryption keys, programming and developing a SaaS platform."
- "The stability of the solution can be improved."
What is our primary use case?
A useful solution for storing encryption keys, programming and developing a SaaS platform. We want to store all the database access keys and secret microservices that can be used without knowing the password. This password can be accessed externally and changed by external people without our knowledge because if you have a SaaS customer, they use a completely separate infrastructure and encrypt the data with their password, so they are completely safe.
What needs improvement?
The stability of the solution can be improved because sometimes the solution does not work.
For how long have I used the solution?
We have been using the solution for two years.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The solution is barely scalable. We like to make variability tests because what we are building is in SaaS, and in Keeper, goes down. On the other hand, hundreds of people are using it in our organization namely programmers Still, we started to use it a lot when we finished developing the SaaS and began commercializing it.
How are customer service and support?
We do not have experience with customer service and support.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We will be switching to AWS Secrets because of its availability and scalability.
What other advice do I have?
I rate the solution a five out of ten.

Reasonable price, stable and scalable, and allows us to share passwords with other people and have the 2FA or MFA codes embedded in the application
Pros and Cons
- "I like a couple of things about this solution. Being able to share passwords with other people is valuable. You can see if the information is out on the dark web and whether you have weak passwords and the last time they were changed. You could also have the 2FA or MFA codes embedded in the application so that you don't have to use your phone or any other 2FA device, which is something very important."

- "Room for improvement in my eyes would be being able to share my credit cards and other types of information. The only thing they really share is passwords, and you can only do it with one password at a time. When you're trying to share it out or trying to remove it from being shared, you can't do multiple selections."

It is scalable. You can easily grow it from a small organization to an enterprise.
We've only four users who are using it, but that's because of our limitations, not theirs.
How are customer service and technical support?
I've used their tech support quite a bit because I am always coming across areas for enhancements and improvements. There is no perfect software out there, and they've been responsive. The only thing that has affected them, like everyone else, is COVID, but they're back, and they're very responsive. I would rate them a nine out of ten.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We switched because this is a better product, and it is for computer consultants.
How was the initial setup?
It is straightforward.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Its price is reasonable.
What other advice do I have?
I would advise others to make sure that they can recover from locked out accounts because it is very secure, and they don't keep any key codes.
I would rate Keeper an eight out of ten just because you can't share all the information.
