I would rate the stability an eight.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Regarding the scalability, I prefer a rating of ten.
Approximately, we are using Windows 11 with many users or some users. I don't increase usage and I don't use it in that capacity.
How are customer service and support?
Regarding technical support, I have not used tech support. No one has requested or contacted them.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
In Windows 7, we had three or four users.

Stable performance, straightforward setup process, and it is easy to join a domain
Pros and Cons
- "Windows 11 is more user-friendly in GUI (Graphical User Interface) and offers a wide range of settings and preferences."
- "In terms of improvement, I have noticed some latency issues when loading large Excel or Word files."
What is our primary use case?
Windows 11 is more user-friendly in terms of GUI (Graphical User Interface) and offers a wide range of settings and preferences. It's great for configuration in both cloud and on-premise environments. The integration with other systems is good, especially for network analytics and configuration.
It also provides features for troubleshooting and encryption of the disk. Overall, it offers a comprehensive overview of daily workflows and network services.
What is most valuable?
One of the most valuable features of Windows 11 is its ability to provide detailed statistics about the laptop's performance, including battery usage, CPU performance, and network performance. These statistics are useful for IT professionals to analyze and plan for the laptop's future needs.
What needs improvement?
In terms of improvement, I have noticed some latency issues when loading large Excel or Word files. I'm not sure if it's a network or software issue, but it would be great if they could address that.
Additionally, in terms of security, implementing easier remote access to laptops and providing more mature patching options would be beneficial. Overall, there is room for improvement in these areas.
It should also give complete support for already tested versions.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have some experience in configuring it.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Windows 11 has been stable for us, especially when using basic applications like Microsoft Office. Perfomance-wise, it is doing a good job.
I would rate the stability a nine out of ten. Technically, Windows 11 does the job. And there haven't been any major changes. Technically, setting up an IP address and putting it in the network is straightforward.
As for managers and staff, it's almost the same in my environment. They have the privilege to read and execute solutions, but there haven't been any major improvements or changes in 50% of Windows 11.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
I would rate the scalability an eight out of ten. It has room for improvement. Maybe they can focus more on sizing and screen protection, like glare protection for screens for professional laptops.
Around 80 users are using Windows 11 in our organization. Even the laptops come with Windows 11, and with the current economy, it's affordable for us to buy laptops with Windows 11.
How are customer service and support?
I used the support for Windows 10, and overall, I can give them a good rating for Microsoft Windows support. They are very quick and knowledgeable about their product. They give you peace of mind when they troubleshoot all the minor things we are unable to do.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
How was the initial setup?
The setup process for Windows 11 is quite straightforward, especially in a work environment. Joining a domain and connecting to an Azure network is very simple these days. The configuration policies are similar to previous versions, making it easy to implement them on laptops.
What about the implementation team?
We handled the deployment in-house. There was no need for external consultants or integrators.
The deployment process for configuring Windows 11 is quite simple. When you start the setup, it guides you through the process, whether you want to use it as an online or on-premise user. You enter your username and password and check the configurations.
If you have Intune in your environment, you can configure your laptop's settings and applications through Azure. It's a straightforward process that requires basic information and credentials.
What was our ROI?
For the return on investment, suppose we buy a laptop at this price and use it for five years. Then, the ROI is around 30% to 40%.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
License-wise, when you buy a laptop with Windows 11, it comes with the license integrated into the board itself. So I don't need to buy any additional licenses. I only buy laptops with Windows 11 licenses integrated.
What other advice do I have?
To start using Windows 11, you can go ahead. It's a good product with stable performance. It's very easy to use, and the graphical user interface (GUI) is user-friendly. You don't need specific technical knowledge.
Everything is easily accessible for control and simple configuration. They also have an audit log, which is very useful for IT users to track events on the laptop. It's easier, and they provide solutions to resolve any problems.
Overall, I would rate it a nine out of ten. It has room for improvement, but overall, it's a good investment.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
Hybrid Cloud
If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

Good performance but lack of Convenience from Windows 10
Pros and Cons
- "The most valuable feature is animation. It is a good solution in terms of performance."
- "When I was using Winsel, a tool for the existing purpose, and completing the purpose of that is to complete the file, it would show an error and ask me to purchase the product. But now, instead of giving the product, we have a patch to loop the tool. This happened via dot key dot shared and dot bat solutions. So, that kind of convenience has not been provided in Windows 11."
How has it helped my organization?
What is most valuable?
The most valuable feature is animation. It is a good solution in terms of performance.
When I checked in Windows 11, compared to Windows 10 to 11, it is very high performance. I see the massive differences in Windows 11.
What needs improvement?
The convenience I got in Windows 10, like different editions, I can't find in Windows 11. Security patching is also higher in Windows 11, but many people look for patching software, but it's not easy to implement in Windows 11.
When I was using Winsel, a tool for the existing purpose, and completing the purpose of that is to complete the file, it would show an error and ask me to purchase the product. But now, instead of giving the product, we have a patch to loop the tool. This happened via dot key dot shared and dot bat solutions. So, that kind of convenience has not been provided in Windows 11.
There are other areas of improvement. I can feel a bit lagging in some of the applications, like Adobe applications. So those need to be fixed.
Additionally, as a core developer, we often require tools like Visual Studio. We, particularly, need some add-on tools we need to use. So, if possible, it will be re-implemented or de-implemented via Windows 11, which will be very helpful too. Like, one kind of, say, PLAMEX or one kind of say, a tool where we can run at least a set of courses in one place without installing any add-on software.
One more thing to mention is the TDM software. It requires compatible hardware to install Windows 11, and that can be a drawback. For instance, my old laptop doesn't support it, and I had to purchase a new one. This can be challenging, especially for students.
For how long have I used the solution?
I've been using Windows 11 for four to five months. I have not updated it yet, so I don't use the latest version.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I would rate the stability an eight out of ten.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
I would rate the scalability a seven out of ten.
How was the initial setup?
It wasn't deployed manually. We used the inbuilt version.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The price is quite high, especially in India. It's a significant investment.
What other advice do I have?
I would advise you to consider Windows 11 due to the ongoing updates. But the supportable key is the worst part, which Microsoft has introduced. So that is the only thing I'm a bit disappointed about. So if anyone wants to get a new laptop, they need to go for the new generation, which costs around one or two lakhs in Indian currency. That's very costly for students who are still in the learning stage.
Overall, I would rate the solution a five out of ten.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
On-premises

Easy to use, and the performance is better than the previous versions, but it does not provide any AI capabilities
Pros and Cons
- "The new search bar is a valuable feature."
- "The vendor must focus on building more reliable hardware."
What is our primary use case?
We use the solution for multiple use cases in our organization.
What is most valuable?
The new search bar is a valuable feature. The performance is better than the previous version. Windows is one of the best operating systems an enterprise or user can use. It is better than other available operating systems in the market. The tool is easy to use.
What needs improvement?
The solution must improve its compatibility with other software like .NET or Java. Timely patches and updates from Windows will be more helpful in making it more effective and secure promptly. Generally, macOS is better at providing patches. It has fewer vulnerabilities. Windows must develop better code that can help minimize vulnerabilities.
Many tools are coming up with AI capabilities. Windows must also consider introducing AI capabilities. It will become easier to use. The tool’s performance must be improved a little bit. The vendor must focus on building more reliable hardware. The Apple hardware is designed specially. Apple devices' life span is much longer than that of any Windows device.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using the solution for two years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I rate the tool’s stability an eight out of ten. There is room for improvement.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Since installation takes less time, we can easily scale the product. It's not a challenge.
How was the initial setup?
The setup is straightforward compared to the previous version. The deployment takes five to ten minutes. The number of people needed for deployment depends on the number of systems in which we want to install the solution.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
We need to pay for the license. I rate the pricing a five or six out of ten. The tool is expensive.
What other advice do I have?
We use third-party solutions for security. I faced no challenges while integrating the solution with our IT infrastructure. There were a couple of dependencies, but it is normal when introducing a new operating system. There will be some dependency issues. By using Windows, we can easily focus on the other things rather than focusing on the system. The utility can be leveraged to deliver more value and focus on more important tasks. Other tools are ending support. I’m generally an early adapter of technology. I’m more curious about the new features and functionalities available in the operating systems.
Overall, I rate the product a seven to eight out of ten.

Enhanced security with user-friendly interface and excellent technical support
Pros and Cons
- "The most valuable aspect is the seamless integration and robust compatibility of other tools."
- "A significant drawback is its cost for the hardware requirements that is important for optimal performance which makes it less accessible and potentially impractical for many users globally."
What is our primary use case?
I frequently use extensive virtualization, managing multiple virtual machines for various tasks. Security is a top priority for me, and it hinges on two critical factors. Firstly, security software's effectiveness in detecting and responding to potential threats. Secondly, the underlying Windows system's reliability relies on regular updates from Microsoft. These updates, often in the form of security patches, play a crucial role in addressing vulnerabilities and ensuring the overall security of the Windows environment.
How has it helped my organization?
The use of TPM 2.0 is appreciated for its role in encrypting communication between the processor and RAM. Despite not being a prominent feature, this encryption is crucial for preventing potential attacks from penetration testers and hackers. By securing this connection, it significantly reduces the risk of a fundamental system breach. Even if a new operating system is installed, the underlying security remains intact, highlighting TPM as an essential security measure.
What is most valuable?
The most valuable aspect is the seamless integration and robust compatibility of other tools. The standout feature, known as the Linux App System Forwarded, enables the use of Linux commands within the Windows environment. Previously, I had to install specific Linux distributions to achieve similar functionality. Now, I can effortlessly enjoy both Windows and Linux simultaneously, making it a highly beneficial feature.
What needs improvement?
A significant drawback is its cost for the hardware requirements that is important for optimal performance which makes it less accessible and potentially impractical for many users globally. One notable additional feature is Windows Defender, an antivirus software by Microsoft. While it may not compete with other antivirus programs in terms of recognition, it serves its purpose effectively for many users. There's room for improvement, especially in the firewall aspect. Enhancements in the firewall's capabilities would elevate the overall security of the system.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been working with it for a year now.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
It provides excellent stability capabilities. I would rate it nine out of ten.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
It doesn't follow a scalable model; instead, it leans more towards specific hardware requirements. Currently, acquiring new hardware can be quite costly. At the moment, we have a total of forty PCs.
How are customer service and support?
I recall having a few instances where I needed technical support, and I must say, the assistance provided was truly impressive.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I used a different solution, but I switched to Windows 11 because security holds paramount importance for me, and any new acquisition in this regard always receives significant attention. The focus is primarily on refining and resolving issues to ensure effective protection services.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup was quite easy. I would rate it eight out of ten.
What about the implementation team?
The deployment on hardware typically takes a total of twenty to thirty minutes. Typically, I navigate to Google and use the Media Creation Tool for Windows 11, enabling me to download the trial version. Subsequently, I installed it on a USB drive and connected it to the PC. Booting from the USB drive makes the process straightforward - I select the destination and network EFI system, then follow the steps. It requires no maintenance.
What was our ROI?
We accomplished a ninety percent of ROI.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The pricing is affordable. There are no additional add-ons or extra payments – just one initial price, providing everything needed.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
I evaluated FEMCO, however, despite its user-friendly interface, not everyone is acquainted with the vendor. Windows, being the most popular choice, aligns well with my preferences.
What other advice do I have?
I would recommend ensuring the acquisition of proper hardware. Some unofficial sources or tweaks may claim compatibility, but it's crucial to rely on reputable ones for optimal performance on a PC and to fully leverage its capabilities. Understanding the cost and having a well-thought-out migration plan is also vital when contemplating a new operating system. Overall, I would rate it eight out of ten.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
On-premises

The organization uses document management systems and enterprise tools such as M-Files and SharePoint. I have worked with Windows 11, both personally and in a business context.
What is most valuable?
Windows 11 is mainly used for support and provides improved performance compared to Windows 10. It is faster, and the device is optimized for Windows 11. Having Windows 11 on both my personal and company laptops made it easier for me to use.

Efficient window management and stable
Pros and Cons
- "One valuable feature is the ability to snap windows to different sections of the screen, which is especially useful on big screens."
- "I have noticed a difference in audio option."
What is our primary use case?
I mainly use it for normal operations.
What is most valuable?
One valuable feature is the ability to snap windows to different sections of the screen, which is especially useful on big screens.
Additionally, I like the tabbed interface in the command prompt, which helps me multitask while working on network analysis and other tasks.
What needs improvement?
I have noticed a difference in audio options when connecting my JBL headphones. In Windows 10, I had two options for meetings and general audio, with better bass in the latter.
However, in Windows 11, I only have one option for audio, and the bass is not as good as it was in Windows 10. I miss that feature.
I would like Windows 11 to have the same audio options as Windows 10.
For how long have I used the solution?
I currently use Windows 11. I've been using it for the last two to three months.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?

What other advice do I have?
Overall, I would rate the solution an eight out of ten. I would recommend you to give it a try. It might work well for them, but they should also continue testing it until they are confident it meets their needs.
