Cap Gemini S.A. is a French multinational management consulting corporation headquartered in Paris, France. It was founded in 1967 by Serge Kampf, the current vice-chairman, in Grenoble, France. Services are delivered through four disciplines; Consulting, Technology, Outsourcing and Local Professional Services. The latter is delivered through Sogeti, a wholly owned subsidiary.

Informatica Corporation is a software development company founded in 1993. It is headquartered in Redwood City, California. In 2006, Informatica launched its Informatica Cloud business. In 2010, the Informatica Marketplace was launched offering a data integration eco-system for Partners, Customers, Developers and Informatica to share and leverage data integration solutions. On April 7, 2015, Permira and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board announced that a company controlled by the Permira funds and CPPIB has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Informatica for approximately US$5.3 billion.
