An easy-to-setup solution with strong security features
Pros and Cons
- "The solution's most valuable features are its password management security and cloud firewall."
- "The service could be improved incrementally to enhance programmatic access to the vault."
What is our primary use case?
My company resells the solution and operates similarly to SF Quality to provide consulting and managed service. Clients can access the solution through its operating system that is hosted on the Amazon cloud or via any web browser.
What is most valuable?
The solution's most valuable features are its password management security and cloud firewall.
Our company and our customers value security. The business subscription model includes additional security features such as two-factor authentications with strong physical tokens. There are additional role-based access settings in the vault which can be linked to Okta or Azure ID for automated provisioning.
In addition, the cloud's firewall allows customers to stipulate which countries are permitted to log in.
What needs improvement?
The service could be improved incrementally to enhance programmatic access to the vault. I've been using the solution for a long time and have made suggestions over the years that are typically implemented.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using the solution for 12 years.

We provide training that addresses securing master passwords and then give our clients the keys to the kingdom.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The solution's pricing model includes team, business, and enterprise. We always suggest the business subscription because it includes additional security features.
What other advice do I have?
I rate this solution a ten out of ten.

Very secure for storing passwords, keys, and secrets
Pros and Cons
- "1Password is very secure for storing all my passwords, keys, and secrets for work."
- "1Password should check and alert me if my information, such as my password or email address, has been sold on the internet."
What is most valuable?
1Password is very secure for storing all my passwords, keys, and secrets for work.
What needs improvement?
1Password should check and alert me if my information, such as my password or email address, has been sold on the internet. There is a function for that, but it's not very good or useful for me.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I haven’t faced any issues with the solution’s stability.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
In our previous project, all of us used the solution. I pay for a family package, and my family also uses 1Password.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I've previously used another password manager, LastPass, but it was hard to use and got hacked.
How was the initial setup?
The solution's initial setup is absolutely easy. You can easily install it from a browser or an app on your tablet, phone, or computer.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Users have to pay around five euros per year for the solution. 1Password is worth the money.
What other advice do I have?
1Password is deployed on the cloud, but you can also use it on-premises by downloading all the data from the cloud.
Overall, I rate the solution ten out of ten.
