Enables us to prioritize and effectively address critical security issues
Evidence-based reporting helps us to prioritize and solve critical security issues. The new visualization feature demonstrates how an attacker can enter the system, highlighting the potential path that can be exploited and outlining all the steps the attacker could take. With that visibility, we can ensure the perimeter is strong and attackers cannot enter, thus reducing the risk. It has helped us prioritize issues. The visibility into how an attack could happen is valuable. For example, it highlights the system vulnerability and outlines where an attack could propagate. The visualization helps me to prioritize remediation, and if I don't know where to start, I can check to see the score that enables me to prioritize issues. I am using infrastructure-as-code scanning, and it's one of the useful features. In pre-production, it identifies embedded secrets and misconfigurations, including issues with Kubernetes or some privileged containers. This feature allows us to pass the audit and secure IaC code so that it isn't easily exploitable by attackers. We can more proactively work to identify and resolve vulnerabilities by using the dashboard and the alerting system that SentinelOne provides. It helps us with audits and compliance. We can show the compliance in percentage. We can confidently say that our company or infrastructure is very secure. It has improved our security posture by 30% to 35%. It has reduced our false positives by 30%. It has helped teams collaborate better. The security team manages SentinelOne Singularity Cloud Security, and when it flags vulnerabilities, they are forwarded to DevOps for remediation. Previously, we needed to identify and report the issues, but there would be lapses in communication. Now, there is a centralized dashboard that anyone can look at and see the open issues and work on them.

Real-time monitoring and forensic capabilities enhance compliance and change tracking
The valuable features include real-time monitoring and forensic capabilities. The real-time aspect allows immediate alerts when changes occur, providing a detailed report of exactly what has changed. The rollback feature is another highlight, enabling users to revert files to their previous states if unintended changes occur. Additionally, integration capabilities with other monitoring tools and solutions like Zscaler are also notable.

Regarding how CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security can be improved, I would say they can improve their support. There were a couple of cases where we needed to escalate issues in order to get proper support. That part could use some tweaking on their end. Additionally, the recent incident during the last summer literally impacted our systems. We had some of our workloads that affected the business, and it was a difficult experience. Apart from that, it is a good tool and the experience with CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security has been excellent. We did not find any kind of issues, but if they could improve their response to security-related incidents and provide on-time support or better understand our concerns and address them accordingly, it could be very helpful. Regarding needed improvements, I think they should enhance automatic alerting with CI/CD scanning and reporting capabilities. Additionally, it would be better to implement Falcon sensor health monitoring so agents are always active. We could know how it is behaving and how it is treating our environment. That could be a little helpful.

"CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security has positively impacted my organization by reducing false positives and enhancing security day by day; after testing it on 100 to 200 systems, we convinced the client to deploy it across 6,000 workstations and over 500 servers."
"Falcon is a cloud-based technology, so its resource usage is light. You deploy the agents to your endpoints, but the processing is done on the cloud, so you're CPU utilization is only about 2 percent. Some others solutions use between 30 to 60 percent."
"Technical support is helpful."
"The threat detection capability of CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security has always been the major seller, and it works effectively."
"The most valuable feature is the auto-detection capability for threat hunting and issuing advisories on remedies."
"I think the overall solution should be rated a ten out of ten."
"CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security is user-friendly and provides detection transparency, allowing us to present real-time documentation to our executives clearly explaining any detected issues."

Cons

"While the future roadmap presented by SentinelOne appears promising, I hope the envisioned advancements are realistically achievable and that the gap between current offerings and long-term goals is not too significant."
"The SentinelOne customer support needs improvement, as they are sometimes late in responding, which is critical in a production issue."
"SentinelOne Singularity Cloud Security filtering has some areas that cause problems, and to achieve single sign-on functionality, a break-glass feature, which is currently unavailable, is necessary."
"We use SentinelOne Singularity Cloud Security and also SentinelOne. If SentinelOne Singularity Cloud Security integrated some of the endpoint security features of SentinelOne, it would be the perfect one-stop solution for everything. We wouldn't need to switch between the products. At my organization, I am responsible for endpoint security and vulnerability management. Integrating both functions into one application would be ideal because I could see all the alerts, heat maps, and reports in one console."
"We don't get any notifications from SentinelOne Singularity Cloud Security when the clusters are down."
"Their search feature could be better."
"Some of the navigation and some aspects of the portal may be a little bit confusing."
"In some cases, the rules are strictly enforced but do not align with real-world use cases."
"The room for improvement, according to the interviewee, lies mainly in customer support, particularly regarding quicker response times."
"The room for improvement, according to the interviewee, lies mainly in customer support, particularly regarding quicker response times."
"The UI part needs to be improved."
"I think the UI could be improved, but the technical support said CrowdStrike will improve the UI in the near future. But right now, it’s so messy."
"The pricing is very high and should be improved."
"I would not say the tool's integration capabilities were straightforward because the complexity depends on the volume of the data."
"Different file options should be available, and clients should be able to select from the options."
"The CrowdStrike dashboard currently lacks a username field."
"There are no bugs because they release updates continuously. We highly appreciate that, but during hunting or running a query on different logs, the time frame has increased in the past six months. It takes longer to give us the results."
"The user interface needs improvement as it's sometimes difficult to locate specific dashboards or reports."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It's not cheap, but it is worth the price."
"I am personally not taking care of the pricing part, but when we moved from CrowdStrike to PingSafe, there were some savings. The price of CrowdStrike was quite high. Compared to that, the price of PingSafe was low. PingSafe is charging based on the subscription model. If I want to add an AWS subscription, I need to pay more. It should not be based on subscription. It should be based on the number of servers that I am scanning."
"It's a fair price for what you get. We are happy with the price as it stands."
"Singularity Cloud Workload Security's licensing and price were cheaper than the other solutions we looked at."
"As a partner, we receive a discount on the licenses."
"PingSafe's pricing is good because it provides us with a solution."
"PingSafe is cost-effective for the amount of infrastructure we have. It's reasonable for what they offer compared to our previous solution. It's at least 25 percent to 30 percent less."
"The pricing is somewhat high compared to other market tools."
Information not available
"It's an expensive package but does what it says it will do."
"It's an expensive product"
"CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security is pricy."
"Its price is moderate."
"CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security is very expensive for us. Last month, we had a big issue that took much time and money to resolve. It slowed down our business and required our management team to get involved. We had a problem similar to the "Blue Screen of Death" issue many US companies faced. This incident used up many of our IT resources in just a few months. That's why we're looking for a replacement tool now."
"The price is not too high, it is okay."
"The pricing is fair for what you get. I'd rate them a solid nine out of ten in terms of pricing."
"The pricing is reasonable, neither overly expensive nor excessively cheap, making it competitive compared to other market options."
