Provides effective real-time threat detection with potential for cost optimization
Some features such as device control, firewall management, and file analysis are standalone products that we need to purchase separately. If these features came out of the box within the product, it would be much more beneficial for us. Other providers such as SentinelOne include these features in their base product. We attended a CrowdStrike Falcon event where they discussed some shallow AI features, but we cannot see these in our panel yet. We work with different solutions such as Darktrace and SocRadar, where AI features are automatically displayed in our dashboards after release. However, for CrowdStrike Falcon, we cannot see these features.

An easy-to-implement solution that provides good reporting features and protects users’ AD infrastructure
We use Tenable Identity Exposure for our customers who have legacy AD still in use to see any exposure and protect their AD infrastructure as much as possible The solution is easy to implement, and its reporting is great. From the start, you get to see the exposure of your AD. So, it doesn't need…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"CrowdStrike enables the infrastructure managers to visualize all the events and get information about the network."
"The solution offers great stability."
"CrowdStrike Falcon has helped my customers predict and prevent potential breaches because of its proactive approach."
"CrowdStrike Falcon's most valuable features are the lightweight agent which has absolutely zero performance issues. There is no performance deterioration on the laptop on the network. It is a signature-less antivirus and anti-malware solution, it doesn't depend on signatures which better protects the systems."
"It has definitely minimized resources. When everything was on-prem, there was a lot more work maintaining it. One of the big value tickets: I don't have lists of hundreds of exceptions for certain applications that I have to maintain, add, delete, and move. The very nature of the product has lessened my workload considerably."
"CrowdStrike Falcon is a very light solution. It does not use too much processor or RAM."
"The Protect functionality on the laptops provides great visibility into what's occurring, and the cloud management of the platform is what we needed."
"The initial setup is a very fast process."
"The solution is easy to implement, and its reporting is great."

Cons

"The product could be more accurate in terms of performance."
"CrowdStrike costs a little more than its competitors."
"They need to strengthen the forensic capabilities of this product, for e-discovery."
"The portal can be clunky to navigate at times and has room for improvement."
"CrowdStrike Falcon could improve by having an easier way to search and use the interface for extracting queries from the data. The interface could improve."
"I have experience with a product called SentinelOne, which has a feature that allows for the customization of query languages. I would like to see such a feature for CloudStrike."
"The KDR solution is immature. They do not have much preemption in ITDR. Threat prevention should be their first priority, and false positive reductions are needed."
"CrowdStrike Falcon could improve the logs by making them free to the API."
"Tenable Identity Exposure is more expensive than Defender for Identity."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"CrowdStrike Falcon offers excellent value for the money for our organization, particularly given our lean IT team."
"The product is expensive."
"The price is fixed with no room for negotiation."
"We have a yearly subscription and find the price to be good. I'd give it a rating of four out of five for price, we got a good discount."
"In my opinion, the pricing of CrowdStrike Falcon seems aggressive."
"The pricing is good and there are no costs in addition to the standard licensing fees."
"The solution's pricing is great for us."
"The pricing is not bad. It's on the higher end of the market, but you get what you pay for."
