Has improved layout design workflow and streamlined mockup creation across devices
It is challenging to identify downsides of Figma because for web design, it is the best tool available. I tried Adobe XD and started learning both tools simultaneously. They are quite similar, but I chose Figma. We tried Tilda but decided against it. We initially used both Figma and XD but eventually settled on Figma exclusively. The solution might not be affordable for teams of five or more people, making it somewhat expensive for small businesses. The commercial plans are not very clear to understand before purchase. Currently, I am working on a project where I can only use three pages in one design file under the free plan, which is surprising as it was previously unlimited. I am unsure about the specific settings of this project since I was invited to it. I definitely prefer Figma over Adobe XD, which I have not used for approximately five years. After trying both tools simultaneously, I quickly settled on Figma after one or two projects. I found Figma more convenient and superior overall. This was unexpected since many designers use Adobe CC, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other tools. Using XD would have been a natural choice, but we discovered Figma to be more convenient.
