I use Ivanti Neurons for UEM every day to patch devices and monitor them automatically so that staff only need to check it, which improves the user experience.
I cannot give exact figures, but we now have a patch level of 95% of devices patched on average, which we did not have before.
Ivanti Neurons for UEM's end-to-end remediation process has had a significant impact on risk reduction in my IT environment, as everything is always up to date, everything is monitored automatically, and as a result, the risk has dropped massively.
What is most valuable?
In my view, the best features that Ivanti Neurons for UEM offers are the Neurons Bots, the AI features, and the automated patch management.
What I particularly appreciate about the AI features is that everything is super easy and fast to configure, it is very reliable, looks very good, works well, has a good interface for support, and everything is traceable with no non-traceable steps.

My main use case for Ivanti Autonomous Endpoint Management revolves around endpoint health, patching, vulnerability remediations, and proactive issue resolutions on a day-to-day basis. I use it to identify endpoints with security configuration issues, prioritize devices based on risk, and automate remediation wherever possible.
If the platform detects a known application issue on an endpoint, an automated bot can perform predefined remediation and verify the result, thus saving the endpoint team from manually connecting to the device, troubleshooting it, and potentially opening and updating a service ticket. I believe the biggest value lies in the closed-loop approach that detects, diagnoses, remediates, and verifies the endpoint is healthy again, shifting support from reactive troubleshooting to proactive self-healing.

Regarding the autonomous patching feature, I have evaluated how Ivanti approaches it. My advice to others considering Ivanti Autonomous Endpoint Management is that it helps reduce manual tasks, allowing for more productivity because of its automation, and I would definitely recommend this application software. I rate this product an eight out of ten.
Regarding how the self-healing automation works for me, a good example would be a device running low on disk space. Traditionally, a user might raise a ticket stating that their laptop is slow or an application update is failing, but with Ivanti's self-healing capability, the endpoint detects conditions, diagnoses them, and triggers automated remediation such as cleaning unnecessary files without waiting for an engineer's intervention.
Ivanti Neurons is delivered as a cloud-native SaaS platform, and although the underlying cloud provider can depend on the specific Ivanti services, regions, and hosting arrangement, in our environment, we use AWS because it tends to be a bit cheaper than Azure and Google Cloud.
I did not purchase Ivanti Autonomous Endpoint Management as it was provided by our organization directly through the Ivanti commercial subscription channel. As far as I know, Ivanti does not have offerings available through the AWS marketplace. Our company acquired it on our behalf, and we simply gained access to use it.
When it comes to patching, I see one additional benefit in reducing the gap between detection and remediation in a large enterprise environment. Identifying vulnerabilities and unhealthy endpoints is only half the problem, and the real challenge is consistently getting issues fixed and verifying the results. Ivanti's autonomous approach helps by analyzing endpoint health continuously and prioritizing issues based on risk, significantly reducing the number of manual tickets and repetitive troubleshooting tasks for the endpoint team. From my experience with Intune and MECM, I would say Ivanti is superior to MECM and SCCM because SCCM is an older technology, while Ivanti is newer.

A recent incident I handled involved a server file that was completely full with no remaining storage. I had to free up storage space to resolve the issue. Daily operational issues include managing file storage size and restarting services when they go down. I receive tickets automatically, process them, and close them.
We use Ivanti Neurons for UEM across our entire IT company and department. We also have a dashboard that shows all organizational units of the IT department, displaying how many tickets, incidents, changes, and requests each has, how many are closed, and how many are pending.

The best features Ivanti Neurons for UEM offers in my experience include using it to obtain inventory data for servers through EPM so customers can know their inventory data and scan network devices. This helps the helpdesk team perform remote desktop functions and execute any action remotely on the endpoint observer. Additionally, I integrate EPM with Ivanti ITSM and ITAM so the ITSM team can work on assets and open tickets as needed.
I also generate reports from the reporting tool. For EPM, Endpoint Manager Mobile, I have experience with Email+ integration with Exchange and Active Directory, email integration, and creating work profiles on endpoints and mobile devices so customers can use these applications securely and perform secure actions within the application container.
Out of these features, I find EPM, Endpoint Manager, the most valuable in my day-to-day work because the Endpoint Manager tool is useful and can handle various endpoints, including Windows and Linux, while also conducting network scans. Ivanti Neurons for UEM has positively impacted my organization by providing customers with tools to scan, perform remote desktop functions, conduct patch analysis, and manage software deployment along with network scanning. As a partner, it has helped customers with these features, which include patch analysis, patch scans, software deployment, remote desktop capabilities, and inventory data.
What needs improvement?
In terms of improvements for Ivanti Neurons for UEM, the only challenge I face with EPM Endpoint Manager is in scanning network devices, as some devices appear without a serial number, which is an issue that takes more time since customers often require the serial number as a mandatory field.
Regarding needed improvements for Endpoint Manager Mobile, I require enhancements in reporting. For devices that users remove from the work profile, I need an indicator to show that the user has removed the work profile, similar to the indicator in the EBM console that shows whether a user removed the work profile or completed a check-in but the work profile is not completely installed.

I assess the impact of Ivanti's always-on patch compliance on my organization's ability to manage vulnerabilities by performing scanning through batch definitions, scanning the endpoint, identifying missing patches, and then deploying the necessary updates. I can confirm that I am not using the feature that consolidates devices, risks, and services data into one view.
Regarding Ivanti Neurons for UEM's AI capabilities, it has security in the communication between the core server and the agent, utilizing certificates. The output from the agent provides all inventory data, including all data on the device and endpoint itself. As a threat hunter, I have integrated Ivanti Neurons for UEM for our clients, and I have been working with it for around one year and eight months.
I rely on Ivanti Neurons for UEM primarily for centralized device management and policy enforcement. We can also handle asset inventory, automation, security, and compliance.
A common part of my daily routine is using Ivanti Neurons for UEM to verify that managed endpoints are compliant with our organization policies. Ivanti Neurons for UEM has impacted my organization positively by reducing the manual work we previously had significantly. Because of the AI-powered automation, it fixes the issues on its own, and I don't need to constantly intervene. Plus, the endpoint visibility is excellent since when I see the dashboard, I know what is happening inside all the endpoints.
