The installation process of Kali Linux can be slow, particularly when installing and upgrading packages within virtualized environments. This sluggishness may be due to various factors, including the source of the download and any potential issues with the operating system.

They are preferred by developers, engineers, and technical users who want to customize and utilize the full potential of their operating system. If you're looking for a system for general purposes like internet browsing and gaming, Windows or macOS may be more suitable options.
