What is our primary use case?
A firewall is a critical component of a company's network security infrastructure, and its primary use case is to protect the organization's network from unauthorized access, threats, and data breaches.
How has it helped my organization?
Secure Remote Access: Sangfor SSL VPN has significantly improved our organization's ability to provide secure remote access to our employees, enabling them to work from home or other remote locations. This has been particularly valuable in adapting to changing work dynamics, such as the rise of remote and hybrid work environments.
Enhanced Productivity: With Sangfor SSL VPN, our employees can seamlessly access critical company resources, including applications, files, and data, from virtually anywhere.
What is most valuable?
Intrusion Detection and Prevention: Sangfor firewalls include intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS) to actively monitor and respond to suspicious or unauthorized activities on the network.
What needs improvement?
I think Sangfor can provide a web-based SSL VPN version. I think it would be good if Sangfor allowed the use of public IPs on Google Chrome to allow users to get connected with their office network.
For how long have I used the solution?
I've been entrusted with the responsibility of managing our company's IT infrastructure, including the Sangfor. Over the past six months, I've had the pleasure of working with this hardware-based solution, and I must say, it has been an essential asset to our network.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I have been using since Fortigate Firewall in my previous company, When I joint my current company here is already deployed Sangfor Firewall. It's a pretty similier interface as Fortigate Firewall.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup of the product is very easy. A user needs to enter an IP address in the browser and select the enter option to prompt the software download process. After the completion of the downloading process, we run the software for SSL VPN, and then we ask for the user ID and password, which is created on a firewall with SSL VPN.
The solution is deployed on an on-premises model.

I wasn't option to choose other service because here is already licesend agreement for three years already.
What other advice do I have?
I think Sangfor Firewall/SSL VPN is very easy to use and a very small SSL VPN client site with a very easy interface. Sangfor SSL VPN can be easily managed. Sangfor SSL VPN is very secure on coorporate network.
I recommend this solution to those who plan to use it. In terms of price and management, Sangfor provides its users with a set of enhanced policies. When my company purchased a license from Fortinet, we were only provided with a one-year license, but with Sangfor, we were getting a three-year license.
I rate the overall tool a seven out of ten.
