In order to build a powerful eCommerce system, which system or framework do you recommend and why?

Magento, OpenCart, Drupal (eCommerce distribution), Prestashop or something else?

Obviously our number one concern is scalability. What do we need to consider regarding scalability for these two solutions?

Any experiences with BPMS Enterprise Edition, Oracle, or LiveCycle in particular?
