What is our primary use case?
Our main use case for Valere's Infrastructure and Managed Services is to help build out an AI platform built on AWS, and they helped us transition from a Zapier-based architecture to a full AWS environment.
During that transition, Valere's Infrastructure and Managed Services' involvement made a difference as they improved the accuracy of our LLM and our AI platform, probably at least a 50 or 60% improvement through iterative prompt optimization.
In addition to that, they reduced our costs from what we were on Zapier, and they certainly increased our satisfaction scores with our customers by 30 or 40% based on the performance of the platform.
Furthermore, they helped us in terms of supporting the chatbot API services and building out custom integrations.
What is most valuable?
The best features that Valere's Infrastructure and Managed Services offers are certainly their AI ML workload hosting, helping us run this large language model and build out very good prompt engineering workflows.
They really helped us with building out a scalable back-end infrastructure, supporting enterprise-grade API services and custom integrations we need.
They definitely helped us with data storage and processing, and how we managed the storage and the knowledge of our base.
Valere's Infrastructure and Managed Services has positively impacted my organization by improving the speed, accuracy, and quality of our platform.
It increased our speed to market and really helped us fine-tune and build out an enterprise-grade solution within a handful of months.
In terms of go-to-market, it probably increased our go-to-market by about 50%.
What needs improvement?
The only friction that we had during any of this with Valere's Infrastructure and Managed Services was probably timeline expectations very early on in the project.
We kept refining the requirements based on real-world GenAI behavior, which obviously is inherently unpredictable.
Some milestones obviously shifted, but they were transparent about trade-offs and ultimately delivered everything we needed.
It is more a reflection of the nature of AI development than their execution.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Valere's Infrastructure and Managed Services for 12 months.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Valere's Infrastructure and Managed Services are stable.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
In terms of scalability, Valere's Infrastructure and Managed Services were always able to add and provide more resources as and when we needed, and we were very happy with their ability to scope with our growing needs.
How are customer service and support?
Customer support from Valere's Infrastructure and Managed Services is very good.
They use Slack for communication, and they were always proactive or came back to us immediately on a follow-the-sun basis to answer any questions we had.
They were available either physically on the phone, in person, on Zoom calls or Teams calls, or via Slack communication channel, always without delay.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I did not previously use a different solution before Valere's Infrastructure and Managed Services.
What was our ROI?
I don't think I could give any direct ROI, but obviously, we see a 50% improvement on accuracy of our platform in terms of what it was doing.
We also noticed a 40% efficiency gain in feature implementation capability.
It has enabled us, given the quality of the project, to target very large enterprise customers, customers that we feel confident that we can provide an excellent service to from our platform that are companies with 500 million plus in revenue.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing has been very good.
Whenever there were changes in the scope of works, they were obviously very agreeable, and I found that they always met our evolving needs and were very accommodating.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
Before choosing Valere's Infrastructure and Managed Services, we evaluated a number of other partners who offered similar services.
What other advice do I have?
The advice I would give to others looking into using Valere's Infrastructure and Managed Services is to be clear about your success criteria up front, especially with AI projects.
What good enough or what good is can often be subjective, and I think we should have been clearer at times.
We allowed scope to creep, which then impacted our timelines as I mentioned before.
Valere's Infrastructure and Managed Services will work to get it right, but the more precise you can be about what you need, the smoother the process will be.
They also think more as strategic partners and less as an implementation company.
If you speak to them about what you are trying to achieve on a more strategic level, they are really happy and provide very good advice around that as well.
If I was looking to build out another project, I would definitely use Valere's Infrastructure and Managed Services again for their great communication skills and resources.
I give this review a rating of 9 out of 10.
