Scalable, beneficial five gigahertz network, but expensive
Pros and Cons
- "Cambium Networks Wireless WAN is scalable. The XV2 model of the solution can support up to 216 people at a time."
- "Cambium Networks Wireless WAN is stable but sometimes the 2.4 gigahertz network is sometimes not as stable as the 5 gigahertz. The 5 gigahertz works smoothly with everything, but 2.4 has some problems. If we change the configuration I am not sure if it would fix the problem."
What needs improvement?
Cambium Networks Wireless WAN can improve the price.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Cambium Networks Wireless WAN for approximately two long.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Cambium Networks Wireless WAN is stable but sometimes the 2.4 gigahertz network is sometimes not as stable as the 5 gigahertz. The 5 gigahertz works smoothly with everything, but 2.4 has some problems. If we change the configuration I am not sure if it would fix the problem.

I did some training with an expert from the Cambium Networks Wireless WAN team. They thought me how to configure and set up the solution. From this knowledge, I did the full deployment myself.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The price of this solution is expensive in Bangladesh. The cost is approximately 56,000 BDT for the XV2 which is expensive. They should reduce their price.
It would be better if the price was 35,000 BDT.
I rate the price of Cambium Networks Wireless WAN a three out of five.
What other advice do I have?
My advice to others is they should choose the cloud version of Cambium instead of going with Unify or Aruba. Unify is not too stable because I found that when the user capacity pushes through the limit, then the hardware is already malfunctioning and then the WiFi speed is decreased. This is why we have shifted Unify to this solution. We now use this solution in a total of seven offices.
Everything has been working fine and we have support from the cloud portal is completely free and you can create multiple sites, and multiple networks. When you configure one single file and you can set the serial number to the cloud portal and the configuration is automatic. The solution is very good.
I rate Cambium Networks Wireless WAN a seven out of ten.
