Good dashboard with easy tracking feature; lacks sufficient templates
Our use case of this product is for invoice processing. We tested it on a small project to get a comparison with UiPath. I am a user of this product and an intern in the company.  It's great that the solution doesn't require coding. If you input an invoice, it reads all the fields automatically…

Has valuable OCR capabilities and a straightforward setup process
The initial setup is straightforward. Automation Anywhere's cloud-based tools make the deployment process relatively easy compared to other solutions. The on-premises version can be deployed in about a week, as testing is involved. However, deploying the cloud version takes approximately 30 minutes since everything is pre-configured and ready to deploy.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Dashboard is good and the product doesn't require coding."
"IQ Bot's most valuable feature is data migration, including Word format and legacy document templates."
"IQ Bot uses AI technology to extract data from PDF files by analyzing and splitting a particular PDF file into separate groups."
"Training the model is very simple with IQ Bot's technology. It requires providing several examples of the type of document you want to evaluate. IQ Bot already has a built-in taxonomy, which is like a dictionary of elements commonly found in certain types of documents. For example, when evaluating an invoice, you will find elements, such as "total," "item descriptions," and "shipped to." This pre-existing taxonomy greatly speeds up the training process as it provides a starting point and structure, rather than starting from scratch."
"Extracting information from 500,000 invoices manually is difficult. IQ Bot automates the task and helps us summarize the data and provide it to the auditors."
"PDF classification and basic data extraction are useful features."
"I can train all the instances and properly adjust, inject Python code to find entities, and so on, and so forth."
"I would say that the best feature is that it has native automation for the US."
"The ease that it provides in extracting vendor invoices, without having to configure them, was the reason for which we had gone with a solution."

Cons

"Lacks sufficient keywords and templates."
"I would like love to see pre-trained models based on industries."
"The way this solution creates invoices can be improved. It is slow. Sometimes, it is also very complicated because you need to apply some kind of filters and effects over the images, which makes it a little bit complicated. They can reduce the complexity to manage the fields or incorporate other features. They can provide an easy way for developers to customize and program fields. The accuracy of the OCR engine can be improved. It would be great if they can also provide an ICR engine and an option to choose between OCR or ICR."
"The log scripts can only be written in Python, there is no compatible language."
"IQ Bot could improve the documentation."
"It should have more artificial intelligence to capture information from a document. Currently, our clients are preparing invoices manually. They are not digital, so we need to scan all the documents, but we are facing issues in capturing all the information through IQ Bot. Therefore, we have to use other tools to capture the information, and then we use IQ Bot to process all the information. They need to improve the artificial intelligence for document scanning."
"It would be good if the solution could extract or capture details from unstructured data."
"It should be easier to install and configure. We had some issues during the initial setup, and we are resolving them with the help of their support. Its initial setup is complex. Their web pages are not really structured. Because they have multiple products that are more or less similar, it is sometimes hard to understand which documentation you're actually reading and using. Their documentation and web pages should be structured in a better way. In terms of new features, it is a little too early to provide inputs. I need more real business cases to see what is lacking. We haven't yet got those. We are currently testing it from a technical point of view."
"API configurations through control room could be improved a bit."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"With the Cloud, the price goes up and down. You only pay for what you use."
"IQ Bot's pricing is reasonable compared to other solutions but should be decreased further."
"The solution’s hardware cost is high."
"I feel that the price of IQ Bot could be lower."
"The price could be lower."
"Pricing for IQ Bot isn't good because if you're paying a lot and you're still getting some problems from it, then you can't give it a good rating. You have to compare how much you're taking out of your pocket with what you're getting from the solution. For example, I have a client paying $30 or $40 for the solution, but sometimes, he's still getting exceptions or errors from it. The cost of IQ Bot is too high, so people are hesitant to purchase the license for it. On a scale of one to five, with one being expensive, and five being affordable, I'm giving IQ Bot pricing a one."
"Pricing is highly confidential because it is something that can be negotiated."
"The product’s price is always in the higher range."
