Seamless integration and impressive scaling capabilities for efficient architectural solutions
The scalability of Azure Stack is commendable. It can scale up within two to three minutes upon request. SQL Server is a good use case for data warehouses. It is scalable and can be set to serverless to reduce costs when not in use. Power BI Fabric offers a useful way to stack data in data warehousing solutions. Azure Stack provides federated authentication which is seamless with on-premise infrastructure, offering good performance and throughput. The integration with Microsoft's environment is also efficient.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Everything is stored under one roof, so there is no need for different licenses for different components."
"The solution is certainly stable."
"The solution's front door and web application firewalls have proven most beneficial for our edge computing needs."
"The solution is pretty stable."
"Azure Stack is a good product because it's flexible and easy to work with."
"The most valuable features are the control and flexibility that we have, where we can build our own solutions from scratch."
"This solution is highly scalable, with both direct and indirect users numbering over fifty thousand within my business."
"The most valuable feature is the OCR, which I use for reading PDFs."
"The initial setup process is straightforward."
"It's a private solution, mainly. But with VMware on AWS, the best part is the ease of migration from VMware to VMware."

Cons

"It would be better to have more services and functionality when it comes to database software and computing."
"I would like to see the AI side come to one hundred percent in the near future."
"Customers need to consider the Disaster Recovery. Microsoft tech is only providing support to Azure."
"Normally, in many countries, especially in the Middle East, there are government regulations for information technology itself. If government organizations want to host the cloud, they cannot take it from Microsoft directly; they must go through the local internet service providers, ISPs, or cloud solution providers locally."
"The solution's transparency over cost management could be much easier because it's very difficult to manage costs."
"The visibility of its SDN feature needs improvement."
"More integration with AI capabilities would be beneficial, along with improvements in monitoring and cost management."
"The precision of anonymous activity tracking should be improved, particularly in identifying the correct location because IP information is sometimes inaccurate."
"There is one thing for improvement. To connect with VMware Cloud on AWS, you need to connect via some sort of IPS. Previously, there were no IPS features available."
"The platform's cost could be reduced."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The pricing is reasonable."
"The pricing is excellent with several options to save you time and money."
"Azure stands out for its flexibility with pay-as-you-go options."
"The cost of Azure Stack is much cheaper than VCE."
"The solution saves us money but is more costly than other products such as AWS."
"We are satisfied with the pricing."
"When comparing Azure to Amazon and Google, it appears that Azure offers the most cost-effective solution."
"The pricing falls in the middle. It serves as a mediator between being expensive and being affordable, but it's not exactly cheap either. I would rate it a six out of ten."
"The pricing depends on the version and the number of virtual machines. Based on that, the cost can vary."
"The product is expensive."
