We have experiences only in Pentaho Data Integrator (open source competitor of the Oracle Data Integrator).
But OLAP exporting wasn't in our scope until now.
Pentaho Data Integration and Talend Data Management compete in the data integration and management category. Talend seems to have the upper hand due to its extensive integration capabilities, especially with cloud and big data environments, along with better customer service support.
Features: Pentaho provides a user-friendly interface, robust database support through JDBC and ODBC connections, and supports various file types. Its graphical drag-and-drop UI enables fast development. Talend offers a comprehensive feature set, strong in system and connector integration, with predefined components simplifying development while allowing custom code for complex needs. Its cloud integration capabilities are particularly strong.
Room for Improvement: Pentaho needs to improve data input performance, logging, and scheduling in its community version. Its backward compatibility and plugin support are also areas for enhancement. Talend faces challenges in troubleshooting and interface complexity and could improve its data lineage features and native connectors.
Ease of Deployment and Customer Service: Pentaho supports a wide deployment spectrum but has occasional support response delays. Talend matches in deployment flexibility but offers superior technical support with immediate responsiveness, making its customer service well-regarded.
Pricing and ROI: Pentaho is cost-effective with a free Community Edition, offering great value and scalability, although enterprise licenses can be costly. Talend's subscription model provides flexibility but is often pricier, benefiting from faster development cycles and flexible licensing options.

Communication with the vendor is challenging
Pentaho Data Integration handles larger datasets better.
It's pretty stable, however, it struggles when dealing with smaller amounts of data.
We have not encountered many issues with remote engines, and the interfaces are properly developed.
Pentaho Data Integration is very friendly, it is not very useful when there isn't a lot of data to handle.
On the flip side, that is one of its amazing strengths, as you are not locked into a very rigid way of doing something.
Data management could also encompass APIs and real-time streaming data integration.
I find the drag and drop feature in Pentaho Data Integration very useful for integration.
Having access to Talend support directly from TNC proved quite beneficial.
