For how long have I used the solution?
For my current use case of Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers, it has been about three months, but in my current position, I have been using it for about three years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The stability of the Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers is good. It is significantly better than some of the 8 or 9-year-old Dell blade servers we were using before.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers scale with the growing needs of my company. We are scaling smoothly, as the PowerEdges we are putting in are replacing older ones, and we are getting much better feedback from the business on it.
We were 3,500 employees a month ago. We're now close to 33,000. We just got acquired.
How are customer service and support?
I have not had to contact customer service or technical support for Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers, as I have been able to manage everything myself.

Neutral
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
The blade servers we were using were eight or nine-year-old Dell blade servers.
How was the initial setup?
Deploying the Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers is easy. We just rack, stack, and then hook it up to the network, and it is good to go. For a single server, it takes maybe an hour or two.
What was our ROI?
My company has seen a return on investment from using Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers, as the builds that the build team runs are going approximately 30% faster on the newer PowerEdge than what we were using previously.

Have utilized powerful servers for seamless virtualization and exceptional performance in branch offices
Pros and Cons
- "The scalability of Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers is excellent."
What is our primary use case?
We use Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers for branch office installations, acting as a standalone server. We primarily utilize it for virtualization.
What is most valuable?
There is nothing special, but Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers have a strong presence in Qatar, which influences our choice. We use it for virtualization, and for our use case, it works fine without issues.
What needs improvement?
We haven't upgraded anything yet. We are simply utilizing even the older models, as they are still working for us. Dell's pricing for hardware is fine, but the software installed on the servers is a cost driver, not the server itself. Regarding additional functions, upgrading storage speed with an SSD drive and increasing memory capacity is needed for improved performance.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been working with Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers for five years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I would rate the stability of Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers at ten. I have no issues with their stability.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The scalability of Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers is excellent. I would rate it at ten.
How are customer service and support?
The technical support from Dell is highly dependent on the service level agreement (SLA). With a higher level of support, such as pro-support, the service is exceptional. I would rate it at nine.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Previously, we were working with SolarWinds Security Event Manager. However, we switched to Google Graylog, an open-source solution.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup process was very straightforward and simple. Once delivered, we could spin it up within an hour.
What about the implementation team?
Sometimes, integration is part of the project. Local partners, who provide installation and commissioning services, are involved in the process.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers have reasonable pricing, which I would rate at eight. Other brands might be cheaper, but Dell's pricing is acceptable for us. However, the software associated with servers, like VMware subscription licenses, drives costs.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
I haven't worked with other servers, but I am aware of other brands like HP and IBM.
What other advice do I have?
I do not have any specific suggestions for improvements or changes. Overall, Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers meet our requirements, and I have no issues with the hardware. I would rate the overall solution at ten.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
On-premises

Fast to implement with good performance and helpful support
Pros and Cons
- "The go-to-market implementation was pretty fast."
- "They could improve the time between new versions of the product."
What is our primary use case?
We made a renovation of our infrastructure, and the problem we're solving is our performance and it is collectivity in our infrastructure too.
How has it helped my organization?
We have a full-scale infrastructure for six countries and are able to centralize it. With this kind of product, we are solving a lot of problems, or issues that we had before with regards to performance. The centralization of the platform for the company helped immensely.
What is most valuable?
The go-to-market implementation was pretty fast. The go-to-market speed for us was pretty important at the time we had to implement that infrastructure.
In terms of the performance of the servers, I'm already pretty comfortable with that.
When it comes to PowerEdge rack servers handling the evolving needs of workloads, I have support from Dell partners. They constantly assess improvements for us and other versions of items on products. I keep up to date with it via my partners.
We use Dell's Optane to obtain memory in the PowerEdge environment. It helped save money in that aspect, as far as adding memory capacity. We used to negotiate these kinds of platforms and renewal with our partners on a full scale. We have a lot of cost-saving with this infrastructure.
PowerEdge helped to reduce unplanned production downtime. We have an IT continuity plan that is actually based on the infrastructure we already have implemented with Dell.
What needs improvement?
They could improve the time between new versions of the product. They could move faster, or maybe offer a little bit more support from the partners.
For how long have I used the solution?
We've been using the solution for four years.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
We have 6,500 people across six countries using the platform.
How are customer service and support?
We have good support from Dell and good support from our partners. That said, sometimes it takes a pretty long time to get an answer from Dell. However, we get pretty good support from those folks.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We had used HP solutions and others as well. We changed as I had some experience with this product and we had comfort in the security that Dell gives us as a platform. The cost and the go-to-market implementation alongside the partner support are the main drivers we looked at when changing.
How was the initial setup?
I was involved in the setup of the product. It was both easy and difficult to set up. However, thanks to the partner, it was more easygoing. There were a lot of people and it was useful to have somebody help as well.
We have a pretty big platform. It took two and a half months to implement the solution. That said, for our needs, it was pretty fast. We had to deal with multiple locations and we migrated everything to just one. We centralized the entire platform.
What about the implementation team?
We had a great partner and planner involved.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
For us, it makes more sense to have an on-premise platform rather than a cloud due to the cost. The cost-saving we have in the on-premises platform still is the driver.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We did consider public cloud servers before choosing PowerEdge Racks. We looked at servers for AWS, Azure, and others.
What other advice do I have?
I'd rate the solution ten out of ten. We are quite satisfied.
It's a good scalable product. It's a good cost-saving product too. That aspect helps us as a company. In my experience, it's a pretty good implementation too.
I'd advise new users to keep up with the timing of new deployments. That way, you can take advantage of new features.

Field Solution Architect at a financial services firm with 501-1,000 employees
Very scalable, delivers on promises, and offers good terms
Pros and Cons
- "The solution delivers what it promises. You look at the specs and it delivers them."
- "Until they get new technology and density, it would be nice to see four nodes in a one-year package instead of a three-year package."
What is our primary use case?
We primarily used the solution for the servers. It's a node among many in a multiprocessor, supercomputer environment. It's a very verified application. The customer uses a lesser file system, which means that one file system is shared among the entire installation. You're not going to see that very often in your career unless you're in that business. It's a multi-node, high-performance computing file system. It's Linux based.
What is most valuable?
It fit the requirements of the client, that's really all that it was for us. It could deliver the IOPS and the local storage that was required. It could have been anybody else, Lenovo, IBM, HP, etc. We were Dell's number one reseller in Canada and probably worldwide. We got very favorable terms and that also helped with the decision.
What needs improvement?
The only way you could improve it is, for the purpose of HPC installations, is IOPS and the only way to improve it is to get a more powerful machine to deliver more IOPS. Basically, you need more CPUs and you need more RAM and you need a faster backbone. We were running on 100 gigabits Infiniband.
Until they get new technology and density, it would be nice to see four nodes in a one-year package instead of a three-year package.
For how long have I used the solution?
I'm recently retired, however, I did work with the solution on one of my last projects which lasted a few months.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The solution delivers what it promises. You look at the specs and it delivers them. If it doesn't deliver you move onto another model.
There's really nothing special about it, and Dell doesn't make servers that are any better than anybody else's. The prime reason we chose it is that it delivers what it promises to deliver in terms of IOPS and the price right for us because when you're a platinum level reseller for a server company, they will give you very favorable terms especially in this time of a pandemic, hardware sales are down across the board for the entire industry.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
It's very scalable. That's the whole idea. When you want to add more computation power to the platform you just throw in another act of compute nodes and storage.
How are customer service and technical support?
I've never used technical support. Out-of-the-box it works, and if it doesn't, then the client deals with it directly. The equipment is sold to them so they own the serial numbers and they own the service contracts, so if anything went wrong during the installation the client would take care of them, not us.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We've worked with HP, Cisco, Lenovo, and IBM in the past. We always choose the solution that makes the most sense for our clients.
How was the initial setup?
We handed over the complete installation in September. We started in August. It takes time. You're coming into an empty room. You have to have power, you need the AC for the equipment there that has to be moved out. It takes time. The racks were pre-populated in Toronto and shipped to Montreal, and then in Montreal, they were set up and powered. We had liquid cooling and radiators on the rear of the cabinet for the heat.
We've done many of these installations, and it's pretty routine. There's nothing complex about it. The complexity is mostly that there are so many key parts in terms of getting it delivered on-site. There are so many parts from so many different vendors and there are penalties if you don't deliver on time. Nobody wants to pay penalties.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
I didn't deal with the pricing, and therefore don't know the exact costs.
However, they would compete with pricing on the market. Even if HP made an equivalent platform, and they do, we wouldn't get good terms. They're all pretty well in the ballpark range in cost and the variation. The list price might be 10%. They know what the competition is doing so they don't want to price themselves, the values, off the list of potential. If I'm looking at servers that deliver so much IOPS and they price themselves out, HP knows what Dell is doing and Dell knows what HP is doing.
What other advice do I have?
My company partners with Dell.
I'm recently retired, however, I did most of the infrastructure, backup storage, and high-performance computing. I was in pre-sales. I was a solution architect. Therefore, I'm not an end-user.
We only used Dell for the servers. We used Seagate for storage. They have hard drives. They've been in the hard drive business for 40 years.
My biggest piece of advice for those considering the solution is to make sure they are delivered on time. When clients are spending $50 million for an installation and you say it's going to be ready September 15th, it better be ready September 15th. One of the main reasons stuff's not ready is because parts are missing. That means you can't deliver a complete solution. If you're missing a box of spare hard drives, they're just spares, they're not preventing the installation, however, they're missing, and therefore you haven't delivered the product.
Overall, I'd rate the product ten out of ten.
Disclosure: My company has a business relationship with this vendor other than being a customer: Partner
IT-administrator at a tech services company with 11-50 employees
Highly reliable and scalable servers with excellent customer service
Pros and Cons
- "We like their quality. I have also dealt with HPE and other manufacturers. In terms of service, Dell is optimal."
- "They can consider making them smaller in physical size but retain the same quality and the same security."
What is our primary use case?
We have a lot of use cases. We have many virtual machines on them that we use for development. We have a development department with us. They work on the machines that we have installed via HPE.
How has it helped my organization?
By implementing Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers, we wanted everything to be in-house so that we could manage it ourselves. We essentially wanted to have it all in our hands. We did not want to outsource it.
So far, these servers have been satisfactory and very reliable. Of course, we maintain updates; that is a part of it, and we plan accordingly to restart the entire machine, etc. A lot of it is automated in-house.
They have definitely improved our organization. We have centralized everything, which is the advantage. With Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers, we essentially operate hardware and have various applications and solutions on one platform. They have had a significant impact on security, and there is also reliability. When you have peak loads, you can adjust accordingly. That is a definite advantage with such a machine.
In terms of energy consumption, I do not know what the consumption is, but the trend is towards machines consuming less. Dell probably needs to keep up with other manufacturers and reduce consumption. It is also likely a reason why many companies are trying to move away from traditional servers, or in our case, towards Azure Cloud, because they also want to save energy.
Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers have definitely helped a lot in terms of the sustainability goals. I am new to the company, but from what I have gathered, we used to have a separate machine for each application area. In other companies where I have been, we had, in some cases, up to 80 machines. With Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers, we could streamline the entire server landscape we had. They are designed for that purpose.
Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers have affected the overall flexibility of our operations. In the past, we had a separate machine for each application, but now, everything is centralized. One hardware has everything on it. We have reliability, and the VMs can be moved back and forth depending on the load.
What is most valuable?
We like their quality. I have also dealt with HPE and other manufacturers. In terms of service, Dell is optimal. I have been very satisfied with it, at this company or elsewhere. That was the reason why we stuck with Dell. Good service is one of the reasons.
There are other aspects of quality. These servers are very reliable. We hardly had any failures. A hard drive replacement is routine, depending on what is built in, but otherwise, the quality has been excellent.
What needs improvement?
In general, our long-term goal is to have everything in Azure. We also work with Office 365, and we want to have everything essentially in one place. Above all, the hardware we have on-site does not need to be maintained anymore because it takes time and money. We want to simply move away from this aspect. I am not a decision-maker, but if it were up to me, I would probably prefer to have these servers rather than somewhere in the cloud.
They can consider making them smaller in physical size but retain the same quality and the same security. That can be an option. They do not necessarily need such a large cabinet.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers for five to six years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
These servers are stable. Their reliability is just right.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
I would rate them a ten out of ten in terms of scalability.
How are customer service and support?
I am super satisfied with their support. I am impressed. It is great. Assistance is quick, and technicians are there right away. It, of course, depends on the contract you have. We get immediate support. It is top-notch. They should keep it up.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
In my current company, I have not used any other servers. I am new here, but we have always used Dell. In my previous company, we used HPE extensively, but we moved away from it due to issues with quality and service. Unfortunately, HPE was not as good in terms of service. So, we switched to Dell. The service was a factor for the change.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Licensing is according to the machines you have. It is a part of the process. I am not familiar with the prices, but from a company's perspective, the more cost-effective, the better, especially when managing a large infrastructure.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We did not evaluate other options.
What other advice do I have?
I would rate Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers a ten out of ten. In all the companies where we used Dell, I was always satisfied. That is why the decision was made back then to move away from other manufacturers and switch to Dell. I am not a decision-maker, but if I could decide, I would still stick with the physical aspect because I prefer having the device physically with me, being able to take care of it, and seeing it, rather than it being somewhere in the cloud. I am not a decision-maker, but I would choose Dell.

Bitte geben Sie Details an.

The processor and management-related features are very easy to manage but it does not have the in-process memory encryption technology
Pros and Cons
- "Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers is a user-friendly solution that provides performance stability."
- "Currently, the solution does not have the in-process memory encryption technology."
What is our primary use case?
We use Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers for running SQL and Oracle DB.
What is most valuable?
Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers is a user-friendly solution that provides performance stability. The solution's processor and management-related things are very easy to manage. The other valuable feature of the solution is the disk mirroring and RAID 5.
It's flexible to include additional memories in the solution. It's a hot-pluggable thing where we can remove and add something without switching up the whole system.
What needs improvement?
Currently, the solution does not have the in-process memory encryption technology. All Intel and AMD processors are now integrating with their CPUs. Dell can add that to the processor so that whenever it does any processing, it will just encrypt those into the memory. That is a new technology most cloud providers are following through with right now.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers for six to seven years.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers is a scalable solution.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We previously used some of the IBM Power Series to host Linux-based operating systems. We also use NetApp storage.
How was the initial setup?
The solution’s initial setup is easy.
What was our ROI?
We have seen a monetary return on investment with Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers.
What other advice do I have?
Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers are better suited for database applications, and they support a lot of applications.
The solution's Cyber Resilient Architecture approach to security has good features like file integration and monitoring. Since a lot of ransomware and cybersecurity attacks happen nowadays, the data should be encrypted end to end. That will give more security to the customer or whoever is using it.
The solution is more suited for database applications. It gives more efficiency in processing CPUs and gives constant improvements in performance.
Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers has reduced our unplanned production downtime by 5% to 10%. We have annual maintenance, where we easily do a lot of software and firmware upgrades.
Overall, I rate Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers a seven out of ten.

Helps with computing, storage, and server capacity for our back-end and front-end workloads
Pros and Cons
- "The product is reliable."
- "The product must improve its integration with VMware."
What is our primary use case?
We are using R640 and R740 models. We use the solution as the back end and front end of our environment.
How has it helped my organization?
We use it for computing, storage, and server capacity for our back-end and front-end workloads.
What is most valuable?
The product provides good quality for its price. PowerEdge is one of the best in the market. We have been using it for 12 to 15 years, and the server has broken only once. The product is reliable. It is really important for us. The tool delivers everything we need. It does what we want it to do.
What needs improvement?
The product must improve its integration with VMware. It is really important to us. They should make the management more out of the box so we have less maintenance.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using the solution for 12 to 15 years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The tool is stable.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The scalability depends a little bit on the software we use.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is pretty easy. It is an out-of-the-box experience. It's plug-and-play. We click it in, attach the cables, and start.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
As an enterprise customer, the pricing is fine for us. There are also possibilities to interact over the price and discuss. We have no complaints.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We have evaluated HPE and Cisco. The main difference we noticed is interoperability. We use a lot of VMware software. The integration with Dell is always perfect. It is a big advantage for us. HPE lacks interoperability.
What other advice do I have?
The Cyber Resilient Architecture approach is a good step. Hackers always try to get into infrastructures or use ransomware to encrypt files. Dell has taken it very seriously. We can see there's a lot of development in PowerEdge. New services are coming out. It's more powerful. It also has less energy consumption. They're going in the right direction.
We use the OpenManage console to patch our servers. It made some really good developments in the last few years. We can just press a button, and the upgrade continues. We're very happy with it. It has made our staff's work easier and reduced the time spent on tasks. A task that took us 40 hours before now takes us 20 hours to complete.
The product has provided us with reliability in a positive way.
HPE and Lenovo are the product's competitors.
Overall, I rate the product a nine out of ten.

Provides centralized management capabilities for large environments, reduces data processing times, and supports full automation
Pros and Cons
- "We haven't faced any problems with the power supplies. The consumption of power is robust. We still have slots for the new hard discs for availability and upgrading RAM, but the machine itself has been working nonstop for ten years."
- "Different types of applications that are now trendy in the market, like AI, are still big topics that are not mapped correctly in the server and storage environment. Knowing those kinds of activities and definitions will help us more to position these kinds of servers for the client."
What is our primary use case?
We have implemented the PowerEdge servers in data centers for intelligence, governments, banks, hospitals, and for different use cases. It's a very robust product.
We're a Dell Gold partner, and we sell services for our clients. We've been working in this domain for a long time.
We're using the seven series and the six series, and we previously used the eight series.
Most of our implementations are completed on-premises.
How has it helped my organization?
PowerEdge's system management capabilities help increase staff productivity.
It provides centralized management capabilities for large environments. In data centers, implementing multi-servers and managing different kinds of resources from a single portal definitely helps us a lot.
PowerEdge reduces data processing times. The server must be set up well to do this. Knowing your application and how to set up a real configuration that will map your request, helps a lot in the PowerEdge environment.
The enabling of full automation has affected the operations of our company.
This is the target of every client and organization. The servers fully support automation. A combination of a company's strategy when implementing solutions and having applications that are synchronized with the hardware requirement will lead to a very good result. The hardware is the best part of it because it's so easy. The hardware supports big implementations. If the structure is right, the results will be very good.
PowerEdge hasn't let us down in any situation. It's a very robust system.
We haven't faced any kind of downtime with applications, especially in analytics, because we implement a PowerEdge cluster and support it with storage. The infrastructure is highly available based on the Dell server.
From our implementations over the years and the new demand in technology, we haven't faced any kind of problems related to hardware based on PowerEdge. Everything is based on the application itself and the algorithm that the client uses through the servers. The problem isn't with the servers. The problem is with development.
It's all about processing. If you use a different kind of application that needs a lot of resources, that is a key factor, especially in data collection, open-source data, and applying different analytics over that. That will need a lot of processing, and the hardware is a key factor in that part.
Full automation is fully supported with PowerEdge. From the server perspective, it is fully compliant.
What is most valuable?
We haven't faced any problems with the power supplies. The consumption of power is robust. We still have slots for the new hard discs for availability and upgrading RAM, but the machine itself has been working nonstop for ten years.
We haven't faced any problems with new demands for digital transformation and infrastructure development.
The system is very updated. The machine itself is secure, but it depends on the client's environment and security strategy.
PowerEdge has good value for energy consumption. We know this from other vendors that have the same data centers that we used to work with. It provides better performance in terms of power consumption. More power is saved with the use of a full cabinet of PowerEdge servers versus other solutions with multi-servers.
We work in environments with systems in analytics, AI, Hadoop infrastructure, open source, and data gathering. We have those kinds of servers in our setups, and we never face problems when running the latest high-demand applications. We have an advantage in getting those results on PowerEdge servers rather than other servers.
We had some applications in artificial intelligence. Some of the clients are starting to adopt those use cases. We didn't face any problems adopting those kinds of solutions, although it's still an open discussion.
We are very familiar with the Dell portal, updates, supports, and assessments.
The integrated Dell Remote Access Controller telemetry for monitoring the PowerEdge system data and providing analytics is very simple and accessible. For centralized management, it's a good value. These kinds of implementations in a big data center make a difference.
We have CloudIQ in the machine learning systems that we are implementing for some of our clients, and those are based on Dell PowerEdge. We have those kinds of predictive analytics, and the hardware is doing great so far.
Dell EMC is a combination of processing, storage, and power. We're in a really good position in terms of technology, trends, and the leaders in the market.
Dell has different types of servers that can fit different types of businesses.
What needs improvement?
Different types of applications that are now trendy in the market, like AI, are still big topics that are not mapped correctly in the server and storage environment. Knowing those kinds of activities and definitions will help us more to position these kinds of servers for the client.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have used this solution since 2005.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
It's very stable. We have been using it for ten years.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
It's easy to scale.
How are customer service and support?
I would rate technical support an eight out of ten. We have never had a problem with technical support. There are a lot of different layers of support, and they're all very responsive. Dell is a very good company.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We used to work with HP most of the time, and we worked with servers from Cisco for a short time.
Dell used to have different categories of servers that can fit different types of businesses. Sometimes we find that small servers have good specs over other competition, which is key for some new clients. For some new businesses, small servers can help achieve different targets for SMEs.
How was the initial setup?
The setup is very simple. When deploying PowerEdge, we used the automated server and OS deployment features. Our clients are very familiar with the setup. It's straightforward and very fast. If someone is knowledgeable in IT, they are familiar with PowerEdge.
What about the implementation team?
As a partner, most of the time we help clients. However, most of the clients are knowledgeable enough to implement the servers in a very simple way.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
PowerEdge is not a cheap product. It's a quality product, but there is always competition.
If you want to buy a server, you need an operating system, and most of it is Microsoft. A bundled solution costs less than a separate operating system and hardware.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We cannot compare public cloud solutions with PowerEdge. This decision is related to the availability of features over the internet versus something that you own in your data center, your servers, and your manageability and power. Implementing those kinds of servers on-premises will cost more, but having a cloud solution with on-premises storage is more feasible and economically better.
What other advice do I have?
I would rate this solution a ten out of ten.
I cannot recommend a solution other than PowerEdge. I'm very happy with it and proud that we have it implemented.
I would definitely recommend this solution to those who are interested in using it. It's a robust, solid solution, and the hardware is designed carefully. The features and capabilities are built-in and it's a very supportive, long-term company. There are continuous efforts for development.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
On-premises
