We have three offices across Gujarat State in India. We mainly use SD-WAN features over the Fortinet and the antivirus IPS, web content filtering applications control.

FortiGate's SD-WAN capability is the most useful feature for us. 

FortiGate's logging and reporting could be improved. I would also like to see Fortinet add a guest management portal. 

I have been using FortiGate for the last nine years.

Fortinet's scalability and stability are fine because I have three units across India, and none have gone down so far. 

I get technical support from Fortinet and my reseller. It's fine. I never have any issues with support. 

We previously used Cyber, but we switched because Fortinet is an established international brand. It is international, stable, and scalable. 

Installing FortiGate is straightforward. Anyone can install, configure, and troubleshoot. Deployment takes only one or two hours. One technician is more than enough to deploy and maintain the solution. 

We have a three-year license.

I rate FortiGate IPS nine out of 10. I would recommend implementing FortiGate to stay secure. 

We use the solution as a firewall device.

The solution is very stable and reliable in terms of security management. The solution has a user-friendly interface.

The solution’s pricing is high.

I have been using FortiGate Next Generation Firewall for four to five years.

The solution is used in an enterprise company.

The solution's deployment was very simple and took less than one day.

Although the solution's pricing is high, compared with other products, it may be cheap. We pay around 1,000 for the solution per year.

The solution is worth the price we paid for it. It was pretty easy to integrate the solution with other tools for security. I would recommend the solution to other users.

Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.

It provides features such as web filtering, antivirus, data loss prevention, and application control.

It offers web filtering capabilities at a more affordable price compared to other solutions like PSMs or NETGEAR.

Integrating OpenVPN with FortiGate would provide a powerful combination of secure remote access and comprehensive network security.

I have been testing it for few weeks now. 

After using it for several weeks, I found it to be operating smoothly and stable.

When comparing Fortinet FortiGate with DSOS and NETGEAR, it is important to note that FortiGate does not have native support for OpenVPN, whereas other options offer those features. However, FortiGate excels in terms of comprehensive network security, with a wide array of antivirus and security solutions available.

It is easy to set up and configure, instilling confidence in its reliability.

It is a cost-effective solution that meets the user's needs.

I would rate it ten out of ten.

The product keeps hanging. One of our customers was unhappy because it didn’t work sometimes.

I also work with Palo Alto and Cisco. Each product has its advantages and disadvantages. Palo Alto has a lot of features. It provides application identification features and big data analysis. Palo Alto is more stable than FortiGate.

The initial setup is very easy. It takes us some days to deploy the solution.

We need about six people to deploy the solution. It is easy to maintain the product.

I would recommend the solution to others. The product is for commercial clients like the oil and gas sector. It might not be suitable for banking. Overall, I rate the product a seven out of ten.

We use the solution for multiple firewalls like edge and data center firewalls.

The solution’s interface is pretty user-friendly. It's easy to come up with policies and basic configurations. It is pretty straightforward.

Once in a few months, there is a vulnerability in the OS. The product has to be upgraded every few weeks.

I have been using the solution for three years.

I rate the stability an eight out of ten.

Our customers range from small to medium businesses. I rate the tool’s scalability a ten out of ten.

On average, deployment takes two or three days. Usually, a person from the customer’s side and I deploy the solution.

The product is a good choice. It will not be a headache for the IT team. It is very common on the market. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
