Digital signatures have transformed how our clients sign remotely and we save significant time
Pros and Cons
  • "PandaDoc has positively impacted our organization since we started using this tool, as I love the ability to obtain signatures from our clients because it makes us more efficient, saving time and money, especially eliminating the cost of traveling, and the pricing model is far superior to other competitors, so we have been able to save a lot of time on the price it offers."
  • "One way PandaDoc can be improved is that sometimes the automatic placement of fields is incorrect."

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for PandaDoc is that it is the best e-signature solution on the market right now, and we often need to have clients execute documents from retainers to settlement agreements. Having clients come to our office simply to sign documents these days is an enormous waste of time for both our clients and our staff. PandaDoc enables us to email our clients quickly and easily to e-sign their documents while also providing us with tracking so that we can see the progress, whether they've opened the document to review it, and when they've signed it.

The dashboard makes the process very simple to sign the documents easily.

A specific example of how I recently used PandaDoc for a client is when we sent clients an inventory to sign, and it was quick and efficient. They were able to sign on time and send the inventory back to us easily.

PandaDoc also allows our clients to execute documents remotely.

What is most valuable?

The best features PandaDoc offers include ease of template creation, integration with tools like HubSpot, a user-friendly interface, and customizable templates. The integration with HubSpot helps my workflow by being very seamless, and it has become very valuable, especially enhancing the overall user experience, particularly for those less technically savvy.

Also, the use of template creation and the simplicity of creating and managing templates for various documents streamlines our document creation, and we're able to reuse the templates again and again, saving a lot of time.

The user-friendly interface enables us to navigate efficiently and complete tasks easily.

PandaDoc has positively impacted our organization since we started using this tool. I love the ability to obtain signatures from our clients. It makes us more efficient, saving time and money, especially eliminating the cost of traveling. The pricing model for PandaDoc is far superior to other competitors, so we have been able to save a lot of time on the price it offers. It's very competitive.

What needs improvement?

One way PandaDoc can be improved is that sometimes the automatic placement of fields is incorrect.

I would also like to mention that it could detect text similar to a PDF editor. That would be beneficial if it did so.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using PandaDoc for a period that demonstrates my sustained investment in this solution.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

PandaDoc is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

PandaDoc's scalability is very good. It grows with our organization's needs and can handle it efficiently.

How are customer service and support?

The customer support is amazing, very unparalleled, supportive, and solution-oriented.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I previously used Adobe Acrobat Sign.

The reason why I switched is because of ease of use and simplicity for the customer experience. DocuSign was complicated and costlier.

How was the initial setup?

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing is that the price is more competitive compared to its alternative. The setup was straightforward and easy.

What was our ROI?

I have seen a return on investment through time saved collecting signatures. It's definitely a better customer experience compared to our previous tool.

We have been able to save relatively 50% to 60% time compared to our previous tool, or compared to when our clients would come to our office and sign documents. Also, we have been able to save a lot of cost, 40% through the elimination of traveling cost.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing is that the price is more competitive compared to its alternative.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Before choosing PandaDoc, I evaluated other options, including DocuSign.

What other advice do I have?

My advice to others looking into using PandaDoc is that it makes it possible to collaborate and coordinate among people. It is reliable and functional to fulfill the needs of any organization. It is also easy to use, cost-effective compared to other alternatives, and saves a lot of time and cost as well.

PandaDoc is deployed in our organization using a hybrid cloud.

We use Amazon Web Services as our cloud provider.

I would rate this solution a 9 out of 10.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

Hybrid Cloud

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

Proposal workflow has become faster and more detailed but complex quotes still need better options
Pros and Cons
  • "PandaDoc offered the best feature in its template functionality, which made things a little bit easier; we would have everything saved when it came to all the legal jargon, and it allowed us to quickly fill in the table with the job titles and the services, and it would calculate everything immediately."
  • "From time to time, PandaDoc was very slow. I remember one or two days where it was very hard to use it, but that was rather the exception than the rule."

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for PandaDoc was preparing proposals. We had a lot of one-off projects, and we used PandaDoc to prepare the quotes for these projects. These could be very small projects and PandaDoc would just have one or two pages, or very big projects such as campaigns where we would break down things in even more detail and the document could have quite a few pages. The projects I worked on with PandaDoc were creative projects, so anything ranging from simple design requests such as designing a banner to videos, to full-blown tenders where we would have to present a quote in lots of detail. In general, I worked on lots of creative projects and campaigns. In the creative realm, the complexity and the type of service offered changed a lot, and so did our quotes, and PandaDoc was used for them.

How has it helped my organization?

It made preparing proposals a much quicker job when comparing with Google Docs.

What is most valuable?

PandaDoc offered the best feature in its template functionality, which made things a little bit easier. We would have everything saved when it came to all the legal jargon, and it allowed us to quickly fill in the table with the job titles and the services, and it would calculate everything immediately. It also allowed us to add video, which was a game changer. More specifically, it really made our lives easier when it came to tracking if someone had opened the proposal or not because we could send them specific links and we could see how much time they had spent even reading a specific page. PandaDoc has positively impacted my organization by enabling faster turnaround times.

What needs improvement?

I wish PandaDoc included a database of rates, or perhaps I didn't see that at the time. It would be helpful to have some sort of dropdown option, such as an accordion option. When it came to very complex quotes, we ended up having lots and lots of pages and having an interactive quote where the client could see the total for a section and if they want to get into more detail, they could open that up. That could make things much easier to still provide the clients with the details they might need to pass procurement, but at the same time, offer something that is digestible at first sight.

It would be good to have something in PandaDoc that allows us to toggle different options for the total. In complex projects, there are a lot of clients that ask for optional deliverables and therefore, the total changes quite a bit. If there would be an option to offer a total that shows the base value, and if you click there, you see the base value with this extra element that you ask, and if you click somewhere else, you can see with this extra element that you ask as well, that could really help. Basically, a kind of dynamic total, a dynamic sum up of the tables where we could tell PandaDoc to mark table one and two as the base value that is unchangeable, and table three and four correspond to optional deliverables that the client can select or not and that will naturally affect the total value.

For how long have I used the solution?

I used Pandadoc for around 2-3 yers.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

From time to time, PandaDoc was very slow. I remember one or two days where it was very hard to use it, but that was rather the exception than the rule.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

PandaDoc did handle my growing needs as my team or projects increased. However, the pricing I mentioned before was an issue for scalability, and also, perhaps connected with that, only a few people were allowed to create templates in PandaDoc, which limited our action when dealing with new scenarios. As a normal user, I didn't feel that PandaDoc was scalable, at least in the context of my company at the time.

How are customer service and support?

I don't remember reaching out to customer support at the time, or if I did, I think it was okay. Generally, they tried to solve the issue within 24 hours or at least flagged what was going on.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Previously to PandaDoc, we just used Google Docs. At my current company, I use another solution, so that has been after using PandaDoc.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I wasn't responsible for choosing PandaDoc, so I cannot answer that question, but I use an alternative now at my current job. I'm currently using Scoro, and when it comes to proposal preparations, it seems to hold a little bit more data. That said, Scoro misses the part of PandaDoc where we actually have some more information in a document format while Scoro is more geared towards numbers only.

What other advice do I have?

My advice for others looking into using PandaDoc is to keep things organized because there is a folder structure, and when several people are inside your company, trying to keep that folder structure organized can be very challenging. If one person doesn't do their job, things start to get disorganized. That said, the search feature in PandaDoc helps quite a lot, and it is able to search not only by the name of the proposal but also by items included inside that proposal, which was very helpful. I would recommend looking at the competition. My overall rating for this product is 7.

Digital workflows have reduced contract errors and save time across sales and HR teams
Pros and Cons
  • "Since using PandaDoc, we have been able to save costs and time, with estimated savings of 40 to 50 percent."
  • "The needed improvements for PandaDoc include that the workflow functionality is limited."

What is our primary use case?

PandaDoc helps us get contracts out to customers for our SLG product, which enables our sales team to update and edit contracts per the agreed terms with the customer and allows our finance team to approve customer contracts easily.

We utilize PandaDoc to sign all of our services and our service agreements with our new clients. In addition to the service agreement, we also use PandaDoc for our agreements regarding recurring payments and our transportation agreement. We also have our new hires sign offer letters and job descriptions before they start employment. I have been using PandaDoc over the past four years, and we really enjoy using it.

We have unique ways to use PandaDoc by assigning open field reminders and creating new documents.

How has it helped my organization?

PandaDoc is very easy to use and integrates with Salesforce so finalized documents get attached to opportunities easily. It is also very easy to edit documents.

PandaDoc has impacted our organization positively because using it has only been beneficial for us since we are able to save a lot of time through the elimination of traveling costs where clients would have come in.

Since using PandaDoc, we have been able to save costs and time, with estimated savings of 40 to 50 percent.

PandaDoc also provides a paperless solution for employees and clients who could not meet in person, thereby saving a lot of costs and introducing a paperless process to many departments in my organization, thus increasing efficiency and reducing human error.

What is most valuable?

PandaDoc offers simple importing of existing PDFs, easy completion of forms, engaged support and development teams, and templates that are easy to standardize and reuse.

PandaDoc's template feature has helped our organization by allowing templates to be very easy to create and reuse, which enables us to save time, especially since we do not have to create other templates in order to send our agreements to be signed to our customers.

PandaDoc is a simple and effective document distribution and e-signature tool, which I appreciate.

What needs improvement?

The needed improvements for PandaDoc include that the workflow functionality is limited.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using PandaDoc for the past four years.

What other advice do I have?

If others want to reduce errors, save time and cost, I recommend that they use PandaDoc as the best e-signature management solution. I would appreciate a short poem or haiku that summarizes this review. My review rating for PandaDoc is 9 out of 10.

Automated contract workflows have transformed sales and payment processes and save hours weekly
Pros and Cons
  • "PandaDoc is one of the best tools available in the market, and I believe it is the best tool available in the market."
  • "The only problem I noticed with one of the automations I was creating was the ability for the customer to choose what product they want to add into their invoice."

What is our primary use case?

I use PandaDoc to create contracts and sometimes even send invoice estimates. Recently, I created an automation where I connected PandaDoc with Pipedrive, and once a deal is moved to a certain stage in Pipedrive, the contract is created and sent to the person.

What is most valuable?

The best feature that I love in PandaDoc compared to other tools is that it has variables that when filled up with values, they seem part of the contract, while other contract management companies use the drag and drop feature, which is sometimes good, but sometimes we just want the content to fit in the document.

Another feature that stands out for me would be the ability to pay right in the document, where a customer can pay using Stripe connected with PandaDoc, and that can help us smooth our payment processes.

PandaDoc has a major impact on our workflow. Previously, we had been creating contracts manually, and whenever a client was closed, we had to go to PandaDoc and create it manually. With the integration and the automation that we created, it has improved our workflow and has saved us so much time. I would say at least 10 to 15 hours per week is saved by this.

What needs improvement?

One thing that I wanted to do with PandaDoc and have not been able to do is allow the client to choose what they want to pay for. The only problem I noticed with one of the automations I was creating was the ability for the customer to choose what product they want to add into their invoice. For example, if they want to add a monthly or annual fee, there should be an option for that.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using PandaDoc for seven years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

I find PandaDoc stable in my experience.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

I don't have any problems with PandaDoc's scalability.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I used DocuSign before and I used Simple Sign, but PandaDoc's UI is much easier for your eyes, and the variable feature that PandaDoc has is what I appreciate.

I was already using DocuSign before PandaDoc and had already tried Simple Sign, but after PandaDoc, I stayed at PandaDoc.

How was the initial setup?

The pricing for PandaDoc is good and very comfortable, and the setup cost is not very much. As soon as we create the contract, creating it on PandaDoc is very easy, so the setup cost does not really amount to anything. I have not used PandaDoc's licensing features yet.

What about the implementation team?

We use PandaDoc in the public cloud.

What was our ROI?

Each salesperson is saving almost 10 to 15 hours per month through the time saved.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The pricing for PandaDoc is good and very comfortable, and the setup cost is not very much. As soon as we create the contract, creating it on PandaDoc is very easy, so the setup cost does not really amount to anything. I have not used PandaDoc's licensing features yet.

Streamlined agreement workflows have accelerated approvals and improved e-signature processing
Pros and Cons
  • "PandaDoc has positively impacted my organization by helping to move the approvals faster and get the agreements in."
  • "PandaDoc can be improved at the interface level, as it needs some improvement because it is not user-friendly."

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for PandaDoc is for agreements and e-signatures. I will be using PandaDoc to generate the agreements after deal closure, and after the agreement review internally, I will be sending it to the client. They will verify, and then we will be sending it out for a signature.

What is most valuable?

I appreciate the HubSpot connectivity with PandaDoc, as that is helpful for our team. In my opinion, the best features PandaDoc offers are e-signature, editing, and the connectivity with HubSpot.

PandaDoc has positively impacted my organization by helping to move the approvals faster and get the agreements in. The approvals are now one or two hours faster. The HubSpot integration specifically helps my team by saving time, as we can connect directly from HubSpot to PandaDoc.

What needs improvement?

PandaDoc can be improved at the interface level, as it needs some improvement because it is not user-friendly. The pulling from the content library is a little bit difficult. We want to update any content library and pull it back into the agreement, and that area makes it difficult.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using PandaDoc for the past eight months.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

PandaDoc is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

PandaDoc's scalability is good.

How are customer service and support?

The customer support is good.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Negative

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Before using PandaDoc, we used DocuSign, where we were facing many troubles with signature and those kinds of things. After PandaDoc, it has become streamlined. We previously used DocuSign in our company, which was not that great or user-friendly, so we moved to PandaDoc.

What was our ROI?

I have seen a return on investment, and it is time saved.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The pricing experience is a little bit higher, and we want to reduce the pricing according to usage, so that is an area we want to focus on.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Before choosing PandaDoc, I evaluated other options such as DocuSign.

What other advice do I have?

All features are good, and I do not have much to add about them. My advice to others looking into using PandaDoc is that it is a great tool for a growing company. I would rate this product an 8 out of 10.

Automated client onboarding has simplified document workflows and streamlined approvals
Pros and Cons
  • "PandaDoc is a very stable product, and I would definitely suggest it to anyone asking for a review."
  • "One aspect I would improve about PandaDoc is that the templating feature could be more expandable, such as allowing the ability to draw images."

What is our primary use case?

We have been developing their CMS application where we automate document creation and signature flows. I created a CMS application in which clients register, and we generate documents through PandaDoc. Multiple levels of signers approve documents, and at the end, either the client will be registered or we can inform them about missing information that needs to be provided.

What is most valuable?

The most important feature I appreciate about PandaDoc is that in most applications, we have to manually create the template file, but with PandaDoc, we can upload any PDF file and use that as a template. The second thing is that their SDKs for programming languages are excellent. I have used the Java SDK, which provides many features and removes the complexity overhead of using PandaDoc's API. The third feature is the notification structure they provide at every event that occurs in PandaDoc.

What needs improvement?

One aspect I would improve about PandaDoc is that the templating feature could be more expandable, such as allowing the ability to draw images. When we uploaded a PDF document, the image quality was diminished, and it was not displaying properly. However, we fixed it on our end, and it is now visible in PandaDoc. If that aspect could be improved, it would be beneficial.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

I have not experienced any lagging, crashing, or downtime with PandaDoc; every time we received a proper response. PandaDoc is a very stable product, and I would definitely suggest it to anyone asking for a review. During development, I never felt that it was lagging, crashing, or throwing unknown errors, and their documentation is well-organized.

How was the initial setup?

During initial deployment, we faced some issues that I was assigned to debug. There were signing order issues while we were creating documents from the template using Java SDKs. However, we resolved them easily and received help mostly from PandaDoc's documentation.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I have not used any alternatives to PandaDoc. I have used other PDF generation tools, which include only PDF generation libraries that are open-source options such as Jasper Report and another option provided by the Java community. I am familiar with those alternatives.

What other advice do I have?

Regarding maintenance, we deployed the solution and handed it over to the customer approximately four to five months ago, and we have not encountered any issues. The client has requested some new features, and we are planning to integrate those. I would rate this product a 9 out of 10.

Streamlined agreement workflows have improved automated contract management with intuitive tools
Pros and Cons
  • "The best features PandaDoc offers are the intuitive and visual interface, along with how organic the use is."
  • "I wish PandaDoc would be more affordable for automations, as the credits we have are very limited and expensive for the agreements sent by automations."

What is our primary use case?

We use PandaDoc to send agreements for signature. The agreements we share most frequently for signature in PandaDoc are Statements of Work, contracts, and Master Service Agreements.

What is most valuable?

I find the integration with HubSpot to have automated agreements particularly interesting. The best features PandaDoc offers are the intuitive and visual interface, along with how organic the use is. I really appreciate this aspect. Other signing platforms are not as intuitive as PandaDoc, and I value how it integrates with HubSpot for automations.

The design of the interface and the way things are displayed make it very intuitive for me compared to other platforms.

What needs improvement?

I wish PandaDoc would be more affordable for automations, as the credits we have are very limited and expensive for the agreements sent by automations.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using PandaDoc since I started my current job in June 2025.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

PandaDoc is completely stable for me.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

We are receiving more agreements and are trying to automate our agreements with HubSpot as much as possible, so the increasing cost of credits for automated agreements is becoming a scalability problem.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

I am not the one responsible for costing as that is my boss's responsibility, but she has mentioned that it is somewhat expensive.

What other advice do I have?

My advice to others looking into using PandaDoc is to embrace it, as it is very easy to use. I have been with my company since I started, and we were already using PandaDoc at that time. I do not know how it was working with another platform in my company, but my peers have mentioned that PandaDoc has been working more seamlessly since the company switched to it. They mentioned that it was more intuitive and easier to use than other platforms. I would rate this review a 9 out of 10.

Digital signing has transformed how I create agreements and now saves me time on every document
Pros and Cons
  • "The best features PandaDoc offers include the ease of creating a document and getting it signed, and the signed copies are also delivered to the parties, which is great."
  • "I think PandaDoc could be improved, especially in terms of the UI, which could be improved somewhat."

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for PandaDoc is for creating a document for signing and acknowledgement.

A specific example of a document I have created and sent for signing or acknowledgement using PandaDoc is an NDA document that needed to be sent to a vendor for signature.

When I sent that NDA to the vendor, I found the process smooth, and the workflow stood out positively to me.

What is most valuable?

The best features PandaDoc offers include the ease of creating a document and getting it signed, and the signed copies are also delivered to the parties, which is great.

What makes the document creation process easy for me in PandaDoc is that drafting the document is straightforward.

PandaDoc has positively impacted my organization by helping in creating the document and getting it signed, reducing the manual work of creating and sending it via mail, and sending the signed copies back again.

What needs improvement?

I think PandaDoc could be improved, especially in terms of the UI, which could be improved somewhat.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using PandaDoc for three years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

PandaDoc is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

PandaDoc's scalability is good.

How are customer service and support?

The customer support for PandaDoc is good.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We did not use a previous solution.

How was the initial setup?

I have seen a return on investment with PandaDoc, and I can share that time has been saved.

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing for PandaDoc is that it is good, the setup is easy, and we can use it with ease.

What was our ROI?

Since using PandaDoc compared to my previous process, I have saved time, and it is completed in minutes.

PandaDoc helps with handling amendments to documents, making that process easier and saving time.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I did not evaluate other options before choosing PandaDoc.

What other advice do I have?

My advice to others looking into using PandaDoc is that it is a good product, so I recommend it. I would rate this product an 8 out of 10.
