I have no specific advice for first-timers; just no fear. Flex your innovative side and continue to iterate and innovate. Innovate or die, that is my advice. That is okay by me if you want to use my company, thinkpeople.tech. I believe you might be using my Next Trial. I prefer thinkpeople. Thinkpeople is my choice; I do project management and product management. I rate Planisware ten out of ten.

I believe that before any organization makes an agreement with Planisware, someone who knows the tool should be in the team, on the technical side or the development team. The problem I see with most organizations is that they don't have a Planisware expert; they communicate based on recommendations and go ahead without fully understanding the tool. If you have someone in your organization who understands Planisware well, they can talk to Planisware on behalf of your organization and understand what is needed. That would be helpful for every organization. I've worked for five organizations now, and in two or three of them, I joined after the initial phase only to discover that there was no one knowledgeable present. Overall, I would rate Planisware 8 out of 10.

To navigate this comprehensive tool, it's essential to have individuals willing to learn and leverage the expertise of platform consultants. Success with Planisware is a collaborative effort—a team working together—rather than a solitary endeavor. Overall, I would rate it nine out of ten.

We introduced Planisware because we wanted to have everything consolidated. Getting into something else when Planisware is already in the house doesn't make sense. The only element which Planisware misses out on is it does not have its own CI/CD kind of setup. If I have a set of teams doing a custom app development and their source code repository, and they need a source code repository, then Planisware is not the tool. Work management can be done in Planisware, but the source code management and the CI/CD pipelines cannot be set up in Planisware. Planisware is a SaaS product. Overall, I rate Planisware a seven out of ten.

It is a service company. We are pro-technology. We have experience with project and portfolio management services. What we do here is provide services to other businesses that own one of these tools. Assume ABB has Planisware, and we provide them with application development and support services. Planisware, Planview, Broadcom, Clarity, and Micro Focus PPM are among the products in our portfolio. Then there's Jira. And then there's Clarizen, which was recently acquired by Planview. These are the five, tools in the portfolio. I would recommend this solution to others who are interested in using it. I would rate Planisware a nine out of ten.
Establish a priority of gaining technical proficiency with Planisware's tools so that your company is not entirely dependent upon billable consulting time for ongoing operational improvements. I recommend nightly proactive analysis of Planisware Intranet Server log files to pinpoint issues before they become troublesome to the user community. Typical problem resolution investigation tends to fixate reactively on user-reported glitches and may miss emerging trends. Proactive global analysis of log files can reveal quantitative correlation over time of application stability and health.
Resource and cost scheduling, time tracking, risk and document management in a collaborative environment. Software solution that supports the end-to-end governance of company portfolios, from finance and resource planning, to the life cycle management of products.
