I am using Trend Vision One sensors. I am using the cyber risk exposure management, CREM capability. CREM is a solution called Splunk, which I use with XDR, Trend Micro, along with different security components such as firewall, WAF, and proxies to collect all logs and centralize them on the database Splunk, database CM. This allows us to correlate and identify attacks, for example, by inspecting signature for traffic or flow count from the internet and analyzing different cases while providing reports for SOC teams if we find an attack signature that matches with the signature in the database. In general, I recommend Trend Micro Email Security. I would rate this review a 7 out of 10.

We are an MSSP for Trend Micro. The advice I would give, tailored to Trend Micro, is to consider a solution that encompasses all the necessary protection modules, such as SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and email attachment checking, including links and embedded HTML injections. If a product meets those criteria, it should be your first consideration. I would rate it a nine since every product has room for improvement. Thus, I wouldn't say it's a perfect ten. However, it does have really good features. I rate this review an eight overall. It helps to reduce silos among vendors because it comes with a rich set of features in just a single console. That's why you don't have to delve into multiple cybersecurity solutions. You can just rely on a single console and product offering a comprehensive security module. We are using the SaaS model for email security. The detection modules that Trend Micro has generally have a very large dataset. It has more than 1,000 detection rules, so if an analyst investigates a single alert and spends around 15 to 20 minutes on average, Trend Micro correlates all related alerts based on source IP, destination IP, or baseline violation policies. It correlates all of those alerts into a single case and provides a generalized summary from Trend Companion AI, which makes it very easy for the analyst to understand what happened, along with root cause analysis graphs. It visualizes, for example, a computer that ran a CMD command resulting in another PowerShell script, etc. Other products require analysts to investigate alerts one by one, spending time, whereas Trend Micro simplifies it by converting it into a case using AI, making it easier for analysts to investigate and reducing response time. For example, if there's an alert that triggers regularly, such as a PowerShell script that runs daily by a system administrator, I can whitelist it to save 15 to 20 minutes on the escalation part. Generally, in our SOC department, we follow a practice of creating a fine-tuning sheet. We ask clients about their thresholds, requirements, and industry-specific needs before tuning the product. With Trend Micro, I typically use that fine-tuning sheet to adjust the SIEM or solution according to those needs, effectively reducing false positives and ensuring that alerts triggered are genuine. Endpoint coverage is obviously crucial because that's where the attacks can begin. For example, if a user receives a phishing email or an attachment, the EDR agent is very much capable of detecting those sorts of malware, which can be predefined IDS signature-based malware or a specially crafted ransomware file. The IDS signatures or traditional antivirus signatures will not be able to detect it, but what the Trend Micro EDR agent does is profile every user of that computer. Whenever there is a baseline violation, it creates a behavioral monitoring alert, and you can get an alert that this file has a behavioral behavior that resembles ransomware and is violating that person's baseline. In that scenario, a specially crafted file is detected by Trend Micro.

There's not much difference between similar products; almost everything is the same, but the dashboard was a very deciding factor for us. I would definitely recommend this product to others, but it's up to them because every product is the same; it's only the feature that is displayed to the user, such as how fast you can identify the threat and remediate it, which makes a difference, so basically, every product shows the threat and the remediation steps, but it's the time saved while going between options that really matters. I would rate the Trend Micro Email Security product an eight overall. I rate the product as I did because it served its purpose for almost 12 years for us, and luckily, there was never any incident due to Trend.
I would definitely recommend it. Trend Micro is better than any of its competitors. I would rate it a nine out of ten because there is always room for improvement.
The features of such security software are all very similar, and very close to each other. But if you would like to select one, look at the support. It is quite important. So is the local agent. With Trend Micro, I found it easy to deal with these people. With the vendor and their support, because, for some reason, Trend Micro is famous here in Saudi Arabia. Overall, I would rate the solution an eight out of ten, with ten being the best and one being the worst.
I assess whether their controls are in place and whether the tool works perfectly fine. I also assess the policies configured for phishing and spam prevention, the aspects we have incorporated in terms of advanced threat protection (ATP), the main feature of this Trend Micro Email Security, and the utilization of a preexisting machine learning algorithm. Suppose someone continuously tries to send some data. In that case, I assess how the tool analyzes the user pattern behavior, whether it is blocking or not, and what configurations are configured in the tool's policy. These are the systems I have been working on. I am an integrator who does assessments for the tool security testing. Trend Micro Email Security is deployed on the cloud. The solution has machine-learning capabilities, which help the tool in handling threats. I would recommend the solution to other users because it's a very useful tool that protects your organization from outside threats. While communicating outside the organization, the solution's ATP feature secures any confidential information you send. Overall, I rate the solution ten out of ten.
Trend Micro Email Security uses AI, along with its XDR solution, to enhance email protection. By accessing intelligence and analyzing attacks, it enables faster investigation and response to security threats, helping to identify vulnerabilities and take proactive measures. Overall, I would rate Trend Micro Email Security as a ten out of ten.
Trend Micro supports both on-premises and cloud deployment of the solution. The advanced threat protection of Trend Micro Email Security has the certificate of the latest reports. The solution's user interface is good, and we can export the UI interfaces as PDFs. Trend Micro Email Security has user-friendly dashboards. I would recommend Trend Micro Email Security for customers who need spam protection. Overall, I rate the solution a 9 out of 10.

Overall, I would rate the solution a nine out of ten. The product and implementation are good, and customers are satisfied. However, sometimes resolving issues takes longer than expected.
I have a background in network and firewall security. We provide devices according to our customers’ needs. There are multiple system integration companies available in Bahrain. I would recommend the solution to others. Overall, I rate the solution a seven out of ten.
I would recommend others try Trend Micro Email Security, as without doing a POC, you may not be able to access certain features, despite a lot of existing material being available online. However, experiencing something practically can make a significant difference in understanding and using Trend Micro, as it can alter the user's mindset. I rate Trend Micro Email Security a ten out of ten. Deploying and integrating it is very simple, and even users with minimal experience with the software can easily manage it. They can start using and getting familiar with the tool within a week, allowing them to train and become comfortable with it.

Before selecting a solution, it's important to work on the email policy. This is because a problematic policy can result in email blocking, which can negatively impact email communication. If there are some trusted partners or domains, they should be added to the whitelist so that the policy does not affect their emails. However, it's crucial to ensure that important emails are not blocked, especially those crucial for top management or business purposes. Therefore, policy management is essential, and companies should make sure that their policies are well-optimized to avoid blocking important emails. I rate the overall solution a nine out of ten.

We're a customer and end-user. I've been using the latest version of the solution. I'd rate the solution eight out of ten. It's pretty good email security overall.
I'm a Trend Micro reseller. The solution could be deployed either on the cloud or on-premises. It depends on the client what he actually requires. Both of them have similar kinds of features. No one is better than the other, however, personally, I prefer on-premises. I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.

On a scale of one to ten, I would give Trend Micro Email Security a seven. Some of their features should focus more on preventing the emails which are malicious in nature from entering into the user mailbox and they should have a feature to completely remove it from the entire email system. For example Microsoft has an option where if there is a malicious email you can just identify it and with one click you can delete every email in the system in the organization for whoever has received it. Similarly, there must be some kind of awareness mechanism for the user, even for whoever is not receiving it. They should be able to send out some kind of email or some kind of awareness to the user not to respond to any malicious services. In my experience throughout my career, making your users aware of email threats helps to get control of the threat by almost 70%. If you receive 10 emails out of which four to five would be spams, one or two may be malicious. If you are aware of it you will not respond to it. But in the initial stages, you might have clicked on the link or responded to their request. But eventually, when you learn about these malicious things, you automatically hesitate responding to them, or maybe you just don't read them. Those kinds of responsive behavior comes with time. If you teach your people they will not respond and your email security solution will look better because people will not get into the wrong traps. For small to medium sized business, Trend Micro Email Security fits very well because cost-wise it is effective and because their technical resources are widely available in India, the Asia Pacific region, and in Europe. However, when we look at it from an enterprise user perspective, where the number of users can be huge, we take more of a risk opting for a less expert solution. In terms of email security, I would not rate Trend Micro as an expert solution. There are others available which are doing this better than Trend Micro. Once Trend Micro is at their scale, at that point only would I recommend Trend Micro. But for the small and medium industries, I would recommend it because they have limited budgets and they work in a different sector of the market. But for the enterprise customers, I think they should look at some better solutions which are dedicated for email security. Email is the most critical part of the organization, so you should always choose the expert.
