I appreciate their pricing. We went for this solution for its pricing. If a colleague at another organization is considering Infrascale Backup & Disaster Recovery but is concerned about the price, I would say they need to negotiate the price and understand how the pricing model works. There were a couple of hiccups during our initial signup regarding the price. For instance, if you back up servers with a certain schedule and retention, it can get expensive if you want to maintain that retention for a long time. Keep in mind, if you change from one provider to another, you have to keep the prior backup in place to retrieve older data. So, when you start with Infrascale, you basically start from scratch with your backups, meaning that you could lose access to anything older than the retention time set with Infrascale.
They are incredibly fair and willing to work with their partners to make their pricing work for both partners and the end users. To someone considering Infrascale but is concerned about the price, I would say that they should get Infrascale's service no matter what it costs because any downtime or any loss of data is substantially worse than any cost for backup.
The pricing is pretty good and competitive with the market. The per-terabyte pricing is very competitive compared to the others. Also, some companies that are very large are not easy to work with. With a smaller company like Infrascale, you can pick up the phone and call higher-level people, executives, or directors. It is easier to work with a smaller company if you have any issues. It is much faster to escalate and talk to the right people as opposed to some larger companies where you have to wait longer to find the right resource and get the answer or the resolution you are looking for. Price and performance go together. There is always a trade-off. You must find a balance between the value a product brings and its price, as price is important but not the only factor for many companies. Price is very important, but in the case of the companies I am working with, technical support and technical expertise are also major considerations.

The licensing structure was changed some time ago and it's a lot more efficient and the price points are a lot better. They're improving and heading in the right direction. I believe it's a lot better simply because we are in a region where the clients that we have can't truly be described as small enterprises. They're more like micro-enterprises and, therefore, the price point has to be a lot more compatible or competitive for these smaller organizations, as opposed to larger organizations that can be truly described as SME's.

It is super competitive. It is worth taking a look at it from a licensing and pricing perspective.

You get unlimited clients and buy a bucket of space. In addition to the standard fees there were setup fees.
Our licensing fees are billed every four months.
