Our main use cases for HPE Alletra Storage include general block storage for backing our VMware environment and for handling all our Microsoft SQL Server storage, as basically all our production workloads are either on the hybrid, the Alletra 5000, or the all-flash, the 6000, depending on their resource needs.

HPE Alletra Storage is being used for systems for online banking transactions. We have sold this to the main bank that connects with all other banks, and the transactions occur in real-time.
We deploy HPE Alletra for enteprise clients requiring extreme number of IOs and fast low latency, on-demand storage. The customers who opt for this usually have a larger budget and are not cost-sensitive, in a nutshell.
We have deployed it across our on-premises setup. We have two data centers, with our clusters distributed between them. There is a synchronous replication between all those clusters for complete data protection and business continuity.
We typically use Alletra NVMe drives for high-performance applications requiring more than 200,000 IOPS per second. We also have HPE's 3PAR, the most advanced version of the storage array. It can address most application issues and has less than 2 millisecond latency.
