I'm a consultant, so I do in-house recruiting, embedded recruiting for various clients, and one of my clients is using Personio as their ATS, so that's how I work with it. As a recruiter, I primarily use Personio for recruitment activities through the applicant tracking system. I use it day-to-day to screen resumes, send out invites, progress candidates through the funnel, and communicate with them through a message system inside Personio. I don't use Personio as an HR tool myself. The company I work with uses it as an all-in-one solution for HRM and the recruitment system. Because of my position, I just use the ATS part. I use Personio's reporting and analytics tools rarely for analyzing the funnels, but I'm not really utilizing it much because I don't appreciate the output.
I have been working with Personio for a little over a year. I mainly used the recruitment module of Personio because I was a manager talent acquisition. I focused on the implementation and use of the recruitment module, but I spent time with some of the other features as well. I used the application tracking system in Personio and tried to utilize the analytics and reporting aspects for the recruiting part. As an HR tool, Personio is really good. It is straightforward adding your organizational structure through it with the accounting codes so you can interface with many accounting modules and payroll modules. People can get access to it, so if they move, they can add their new address to Personio themselves. The self-service module is pretty good. Time tracking in Personio is really straightforward compared to SAP time tracking and others. I was really impressed with it as an HR platform, but not impressed with it from a recruiting point of view. I escalated questions to the Personio tech support when we weren't sure if we could do something and how we could do it. We had a contact we could call, and there was also an option to access and chat with the help desk in the platform.
