Retool, being a low-code/no-code platform, could improve by allowing users, particularly non-technical users, to use it more easily. In the mobile app development, you have to use JavaScript to interact with components, and for non-technical users, it's already too technical, so Retool has to add some integrated solutions.

The UI of Retool could be improved, as I am not fond of the current design, and there should be a platform for learning how to use Retool efficiently, especially since our software team customizes it for their needs, leaving the operational team with limited knowledge on how to customize it. Since I haven't delved deeply into Retool beyond exporting data, I believe it could benefit from tutorials or learning platforms on how to integrate Retool into daily tasks, as more feedback might arise from that knowledge. There should be better documentation or support for non-technical users, providing a platform to learn and implement Retool effectively.

The platform already provides many features, and additional features aren't necessary for medium-level usage. Only very high-level requirements might necessitate more features. AI tools, features, and machine learning capabilities should be added as they would be helpful in the future.
One area for improvement in Retool is expanding its library support to include a broader range of third-party JavaScript libraries. This would enhance the tool's versatility and allow more complex functionalities to integrate seamlessly into the admin panels. Retool should include enhanced graphical customization tools in its next release, particularly for creating more dynamic visual representations within the admin panels.
The part where we can add some custom logic or custom plugins could be better. Some options are very limited, and we have to do something using code over there.
There aren't many integration resources yet, like Airtable. There's no functionality to integrate with it. When I used it, it promoted integrating with Airtable by using the REST API. I think that is a limitation for Retool. In future releases, Retool should add more resource integration.
Retool enables rapid construction of internal tools with minimal coding, streamlining workflows across HR, customer support, and compliance. Praised for its drag-and-drop interface, extensive component library, and SQL support, it boosts organizational efficiency by automating tasks and enhancing data management.
