What is our primary use case?
I use AWS Auto Scaling for websites to manage traffic coming into the website. I worked with the group that built this website, and my duty was to do the Auto Scaling to manage the traffic that was coming in.
To scale it, on the days that we have more traffic, we scale it up, and we scale it down when we have less traffic.
What is most valuable?
The fact that you can manage your traffic in AWS Auto Scaling is one thing I appreciate about it. You don't have to manually scale your website when you have days with more traffic.
The automation aspect where you can automate it to whatever you want is what I value the most about Auto Scaling.
I did use the dynamic scaling feature of AWS Auto Scaling, but not for a long time.
I have AWS Auto Scaling integrated with CloudWatch. You can monitor all the activities. I found the integration of AWS Auto Scaling with CloudWatch very seamless.
It contributes a lot and makes the workflow seamless because when you integrate CloudWatch, it becomes easy so you don't necessarily have to go outside of AWS to monitor your activities. You don't have to look for a third-party app to monitor.
With CloudWatch, I find it very seamless that you can just monitor your activities from CloudWatch so you don't have to go outside of AWS to do that.
What needs improvement?
I'm not really sure what improvements I would want to see in AWS Auto Scaling because I haven't really used it extensively or explored most of it.
To the extent that I've used it so far, I think it is very good. I can't really say for certain what should be improved because I haven't really explored it a lot. However, what I've been using it for has been very good.
If there could be training for AWS Auto Scaling, that would be fine. If you could add more training on how to use it correctly and on the functions that I haven't used before or some people have not really used before, that would help. If there could be more documentation and training on it, that would be beneficial.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I haven't utilized the predictive scaling feature of AWS Auto Scaling. I haven't utilized the custom scaling policies in AWS Auto Scaling. We have not had any major issues with AWS Auto Scaling so far.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
It was very straightforward to set up AWS Auto Scaling. It was very cool and okay. It was not stressful.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I haven't used any different solution apart from AWS Auto Scaling.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
I'm not sure about the pricing aspect of AWS Auto Scaling or the cost of it.
What other advice do I have?
My advice to other organizations considering AWS Auto Scaling for their environment is to go for it. It's very seamless, very straightforward, and very cost-effective. From what I've seen, it's a very friendly application. If you're looking for options, I think you should choose AWS Auto Scaling. I would rate this product an eight out of ten.
