What is our primary use case?
My main use case for BoxyHQ Enterprise SSO is for single sign-on applications in enterprise environments. We have in-house application developers who use it for integration with SaaS and APIs.
A specific example of how I have used BoxyHQ Enterprise SSO in one of my projects is for different applications as a universal IDP. I integrate with Okta and Entra depending on the use case, and then I integrate with OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0 where I integrate multiple applications and scenarios.
What is most valuable?
The best features BoxyHQ Enterprise SSO offers are OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0.
What stands out to me about OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0 is that it converts legacy SAML sessions into modern ones, which is advantageous compared with other solutions.
BoxyHQ Enterprise SSO has impacted my organization positively as it saves a significant amount of engineering hours and effort while securing environments and applications entirely.
What needs improvement?
BoxyHQ Enterprise SSO can be improved as competitors have more to offer. For example, in the device trust section or other areas, BoxyHQ Enterprise SSO needs to develop additional tools beyond single sign-on.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using BoxyHQ Enterprise SSO for two years.
What was our ROI?
Regarding the saved engineering hours, once I integrate an application, it saves integration hours. I estimate that it saves us 40 to 50 hours a month.
What other advice do I have?
I would rate BoxyHQ Enterprise SSO overall a seven out of ten.
I chose seven out of ten because it does the job and that is sufficient. If you need more, then it cannot provide that, but it can be improved.
Regarding BoxyHQ Enterprise SSO's AI capabilities, I think it does not have any AI and governance security features.
The advice I would give to others looking into using BoxyHQ Enterprise SSO is that if you need something basic that does the job and you do not need advanced features, and all you need is single sign-on, then it is for you.
My overall review rating for BoxyHQ Enterprise SSO is seven out of ten.
