I carry out integrations with the help of third-party software. Even patching is carried out with the help of third-party software while also importing CSV files over to HubSpot. With Pipedream, I would just move data or transform it, and it is like a low-code platform to deal with any data problems faced by our company's clients. Pipedream is similar to Zapier. Unlike Zapier, the usage of Python in Pipedream is a little bit more complex. You can also use Python in Zapier, but there were certain functionalities you couldn't get, so my company moved over to Pipedream.

I don't remember whether the product was deployed on the cloud or on an on-premises model. For my use case, I decided to just put the code and use the code, and then use it with whatever source of data, like Excel or any other sources, while looking into streaming data and using Python to trigger the workflow or something like that and move all the data over to HubSpot.

Pipedream offers ease of use, so I could build up custom integrations by myself and put them on Slack, AWS, SQL Server, Linux, or DigitalOcean. Pipedream just provided our company with a solution for our clients, especially if they need to scale up anything. In case there was a need where ten to sixty records had to be brought on to HubSpot, Pipedream serves as a better solution compared to having the need to do a custom integration that would probably take two days or even several months just because of its complexity. Pipedream provides users with a very easy way of doing everything, and its UI just made everything a lot simpler for anyone with technical skills.

The most valuable feature of Pipedream is the ability to use Python code in general. Though it is a bit complex to use Python code in Pipedream, it is not that complex since you don't have to build out something by yourself.

The UI and the fact that the product is not easy to use are areas with shortcomings where improvements are required. Documentation isn't available for everything in the solution, so you may have to figure out a lot of things by yourself. Pipedream is easy to use for someone with tech skills or someone new who is trying to learn how to code. Though it is user-friendly for people with tech skills, it is not at all user-friendly for people who do not have any tech skills. The user interface of Pipedream is very simple compared to the user interfaces of some other products like monday.com or Asana. Asana and monday.com have visually appealing user interfaces. The user interface of Pipedream is not visually appealing at all. The aforementioned details need to be considered for improvement in the solution.

I just wish there was a little bit more documentation on how everything worked when it came to deployment since I was a fairly new employee at the company at that time.

Sometimes, the workflow wouldn't work fine in Pipedream, and I had to check it myself for errors. Finding the errors in Pipedream is hard to find. I think it would be good if Pipedream had the ability to send an email to notify you that there is an error with the code instead of having to go back in and then look every day or every hour if there was an error in the code.

I have been using Pipedream for a year. I don't remember the version of the solution.

Stability-wise, I rate the solution an eight or nine out of ten.

Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a seven out of ten.

I don't think that Pipedream can move billions of records. I haven't tried the product's scalability feature yet. I don't know about the product's scalability feature, but I believe that maybe the documentation does.

I have experience with Zapier. Though I like Zapier, it has its issues. I rate Zapier a seven out of ten and Pipedream a nine out of ten. Custom integrations are something you can always build yourself. I have experience with Zapier, Pipedream, and custom integrations through Python code.

The product's initial setup phase was a straightforward process for me.

The solution can be deployed in a day.

I did see a return on investment from the use of Pipedream in a company that was working to provide online courses for lawyers, so anyone who took the course had to pay 100 or 200 USD per student. I guess that the aforementioned details can be considered to prove that the tool ensures a return on investment, but personally, I have never worked with an area of the tool that ensures its users a return on investment.

I wouldn't use Pipedream for personal use because I can't afford to pay 100 USD a month to work with it. I guess that for a company, and some of the companies I have worked with, Pipedream is very cheap since they may not view 100 USD a month as a huge sum, especially when compared to paying a developer around 70,000 USD a year to do something that Pipedream can do. Price-wise, for a company, it is a nice product, but for personal use, it is not very beneficial.

Based on the suggestions from one of my colleagues, I started using Pipedream. I couldn't evaluate other options against Pipedream since I wasn't the director of technology at the company.

I would say that if you are a new developer, it is probably important to learn the basics before you use Pipedream since it can make it possible for you to use it easily. I recommend those who plan to use Pipedream to have fun with it and read up on the documentation part. Hopefully, there are videos out there that have come out recently.

For the use cases of the company I work with, I rate the tool a ten out of ten.

There is a limitation with Pipedream related to timeouts when handling substantial amounts of data, especially compared to other tools like Google Apps Script that can run for longer durations, up to half an hour.

I used Zapier. I am about to start using Google SnapShot as well.

The product is easy and quick to install. It enables efficient integration between online services. It takes a day or two days to complete.

The product price is fair and inexpensive than Zapier.

Pipedream has efficiently automated tasks compared to other tools like Zapier. It is a developer-friendly platform that allows writing custom scripts.

The product's most valuable feature is the filter. It is the simplest functionality. Another valuable feature is the option to create custom integrations.

Our customers find the product difficult to use compared to other automation tools. It is easy to use for me as I enjoy coding. However, the process might be more challenging for other users.

It is a great tool for small and medium businesses with basic use cases. However, a higher-tier plan with longer runtime for more extensive tasks could be possible. Pipedream is excellent for handling data within certain limits; it may face challenges when dealing with larger datasets or processes that extend beyond a five-minute timeframe. In comparison, Google Apps Script offers more RAM, allowing for broader capabilities.

I rate it a nine out of ten.

The solution was used for scheduling web scraping tasks. It was scheduled after every 24 hours. I also used it to store data in Firestore. I have made seven to eight web scrapers for different sites.

I did a web scraping task that was scheduled every 24 hours. It would have been a lengthy process if I had done the task by writing the code.

The solution enables users to integrate several things. I have integrated a Python web scraper. The code was written using Beautiful Soup. I used Pipedream’s data stores. I sent the data from data stores to Excel sheets.

We faced some server timeouts. The product must work on it.

I used the solution for one to two months.

The tasks were failing due to some error in the code. Several times, we did not receive the emails that informed us regarding the errors. I expected the product to notify me every day about my work, but I received notifications of two to three days of work on a single day.

The tool was scalable. The maintenance was dependent on the error notifications I received. When I received notifications about errors, I corrected the errors. The solution was maintainable. We could make changes in the code after deployment and redeploy it.

There is a forum in Pipedream. We can post our questions there. We can directly copy and paste the error and get the solution immediately.

We also used Appsmith in my organization. We used Pipedream less than we used Appsmith. Both products are used for different purposes. Appsmith is used for creating drag-and-drop UIs. We can update or delete some data from the DB using Appsmith.

The solution was cloud-based. The initial setup was easy. The documentation was easy to read. It was a one-click deployment. I had to only click on a deploy button, and it was deployed on the cloud.

I used the free features that are public.

The final product was an Excel sheet. It had all the job details and was sent to the sales team. It was used within our organization. I created a drag-and-drop UI for a project using Appsmith. Our customers used it for blacklisting or whitelisting students attempting an exam. 

The user could mention the students who cheated and blacklist them. The changes were reflected in the DB, and the blacklisted weren’t allowed to give their next exam. People wanting to use the product must start from the basics. It is easy to use, though. 

Overall, I rate the product a nine out of ten.

I use Pipedream to connect different applications through visual workflows. It helps me integrate standard APIs, add custom code, and streamline tasks, especially in touchscreen applications.

The most valuable features of Pipedream are the prebuilt integrations that require no coding.

There is a potential area for improvement in handling loop operations over items. Many users, including myself, have expressed the need for enhanced capabilities in this aspect.

I have been using Pipedream for two years.

Generally very stable, some issues with the Google API quota management keep reocurring.

I would rate the scalability as a ten out of ten. We have approximately 25 users at our company, though they rarely notice that Pipedream is invilved, as it runs invisibly in the background.

The tech support for Pipedream is excellent. They are quick, competent, and provide excellent support. I would rate them as an eight out of ten. There are several channels to reach out, sometimes it is not clear which one is suitable.

I tried Zapier before switching to Pipedream. I moved away from Zapier because it involved more coding and was not as simple to set up compared to Pipedream.

The initial setup is very easy. The deployment of the major workflows took about two weeks.

We have seen a return on investment in a short period.

Pipedream is very affordable.

I would highly recommend trying out Pipedream to others. In just two hours, you can build a workflow and see results quickly. The platform's simplicity and the positive feedback from the community show that many people find it very likable. Overall, I would rate Pipedream as a ten out of ten. It is one of the best products I have used.
