I have explored Sangfor Internet Access Gateway (IAG). I'm getting a straightforward web login experience for my users. It's essential to ensure the necessary security measures, similar to antivirus protection when they navigate various platforms.

When comparing its caller ID function with other products like Google or FortiGate, the standout advantage is definitely the cost. Sangfor Internet Access Gateway (IAG) is a cost-effective solution that offers almost all the features of those other products. In my view, the primary advantage lies in its cost-effectiveness.

The most significant aspect is the control it offers over internet traffic, like managing computer access to specific sites like Facebook. I find particular value in its ability to control the depth of internal traffic, enabling actions like blocking specific file extensions on social media or specific IPs. This control by categories is a standout feature for us in Sangfor Internet Access Gateway (IAG).

After my purchase, I noticed a need for improvements, particularly in the area of identifying the source user of the device, which can sometimes roll back to the base. Additionally, there were challenges with SSL gate traffic, which wasn't functioning as effectively as expected. Even though there have been fixes to these issues, they should be inherent to the product and need further attention. These aspects, especially sub-features, aren't very robust and seem complex.

Regarding integration, while Sangfor Internet Access Gateway (IAG) integrates well with its own products, its compatibility with third-party tools like QB is limited. There's room for improvement in making protocols compatible with various third-party products.

I would rate the stability 8.5 out of 10. 

It is scalable. Initially, we added more feedback and migrated it to more users so that it is easier to resolve the issue.

Anytime we encounter issues, whether software-related or architectural, we can reach out to Sangfor Internet Access Gateway (IAG) for support.

When I consider the availability of support, I'd rate it a nine out of ten. As for the solutions they provide, I'd rate them a perfect ten.

Previously, we were using outdated Internet proxy clients, and we needed to upgrade our support systems. While comparing and evaluating various products like FortiGate and Time Code, the reason we selected Sangfor Internet Access Gateway (IAG) was due to its ability to offer almost all the features of these products at a lower cost.

We’re five years into our current setup, considering the licenses we own and the added costs we're evaluating for these licenses. I'm involved in another project, and its return on investment (ROI) is straightforward. The ROI for this other project would be achieved in eight to nine years, whereas we need a solution providing ROI within four years in terms of pricing.

It is one of the reason for choosing it over other available products. However, recently, this year, there have been recurring concerns. I believe we might consider migrating to another solution.

In our process, we accessed and demoed products from various vendors. After thoroughly comparing features, licenses, support, and costs, we decided to opt for Sangfor Internet Access Gateway (IAG). 

I find it crucial to thoroughly test the product before any disconnection occurs. It involves inviting different cases and multiple deployment scenarios, testing it across all products and features, and assessing high availability, link redundancy, and internet link capabilities.

I would rate it 8.5 out of 10.

We use the solution to secure the user end from accessing restricted websites like torrents, pornographic websites, the dark web, or anything else to secure a university environment.

I can provide all my end users secure internet access over wireless or otherwise. The solution allows me to block whatever I want to block.

The solution is interoperable and has centralized management.

The solution's logging system should be improved because its logs are not precise and are a little confusing.

Sangfor Internet Access Gateway is a stable solution.

Sangfor Internet Access Gateway is a scalable solution. Around 8,000 users are using the solution in our organization.

We previously used Microsoft Threat Management Gateway (TMG) and Microsoft ISA Server. We switched to Sangfor Internet Access Gateway because Microsoft discontinued their TMG and ISA support.

The solution’s initial setup is straightforward.

Sangfor Internet Access Gateway was deployed within an hour in our organization by two to three people.

We have seen a return on investment with Sangfor Internet Access Gateway.

The solution’s pricing is cheaper than any other solution.

Overall, I rate Sangfor Internet Access Gateway an eight out of ten.

As I work in a school where children use the internet, we use Sangfor Internet Access Gateway (IAG) to control our bandwidth, and we use it to control Sangfor Internet Access Management (IAM). We have certain policies on what students can and cannot access.

In Sangfor Internet Access Gateway (IAG), the network management and the filter management are really good features. I can filter the internet up to the application layer and ensure that the students in our school cannot use Facebook, Snapchat, or any such websites. With Sangfor Internet Access Gateway (IAG), I don't have to go into the technical details concerning codes, IP addresses, or URLs. With Sangfor Internet Access Gateway (IAG), I just need to select the application, and it works for me.

In Sangfor Internet Access Gateway (IAG), its speed is an area of concern where improvements are required. Sangfor Internet Access Gateway (IAG) slows down the internet a little bit because of all the filters and other features that it offers. The report management could be a little bit better and intuitive.

I have been using Sangfor Internet Access Gateway (IAG) for six years. I am a user of the solution.

It is a stable solution. I never had a stability issue with the device. Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.

It is not a scalable model of the solution we use in our company. Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a five out of ten.

I think for small to medium-sized businesses, Sangfor Internet Access Gateway (IAG) is a very good and cost-effective device. Though FortiGate or Cisco may be better than Sangfor Internet Access Gateway (IAG), they are much more expensive. For small to medium businesses, it's quite a capable device.
