I use the solution as a transaction management system or data management system. It doesn’t require much aggregation.
What is our primary use case?
What is most valuable?
The product enables the users to query results faster. It maintains all the versions of the changes done on a specific node. A traditional blockchain would take time, but Amazon QLDB is a bit faster. We have to do many operations in blockchain to read data, but QLDB comes with an easy syntax. The product provides a nice dashboard to view all the information.
What needs improvement?
The product should enable users to import data from various databases. It would be a nice additional improvement. It should also provide more instances.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using the solution for the past two and a half to three years. I am working with the latest version of the product.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The stability is good. I rate the stability an eight or nine out of ten.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
I rate the tool’s scalability an eight out of ten. I do not have any issues with the scalability. We have around 5000 users.
How are customer service and support?
There were many instances when I had to talk to the team for days together for a solution. I had to make custom solutions multiple times. I'm not a great fan of the technical support team.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Neutral
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Amazon QLDB is used for transaction log maintenance, but MongoDB is used for aggregation.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is moderately easy. It depends on the project. We work on professional projects. We need to take care of quite a few sets of processes. I did not have any issues with the initial setup. The tool is cloud-based.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The product is not expensive.
What other advice do I have?
