Creative workflows have become more collaborative but pricing and support still need improvement
Adobe has a pricing policy which is very unusual. They offer the same set of products to an online user at 1/10th the cost while charging the business user a very high premium. Both essentially get the same products and services, which seems very unfair because the large chunk of the market still lies within the business use scenario. As a person who sells the product in the market, one of the biggest challenges we face is price. The price competition is within Adobe itself. They have a different price for the online user and a different price for the business user, with no parity between these prices. Although they consume the same set of products and services, if I were to sell an Adobe product worth $100 to a business user, the same product is available online for $10. Adobe keeps bringing out updates without really testing them on any of the current operating systems. Many customers call back saying that they updated to a certain version and are facing issues, requiring them to roll back. These kinds of issues occur frequently.

Cost-effective, powerful Vector design components, and well-suited for large-scale projects
I have been using the CorelDraw software in a major capacity in the education industry to promote the capabilities and advantages of using the software for small to medium size organizations. In the corporate environments, I have not seen a massive improvement due to the large support from Microsoft for their Adobe Design suite being a far more viable option for large scale organizations and corporations. Corel Draw is a far more convenient option for designers and illustrators due to the lower costs of the software but the support surrounding the software is not as significant as the Microsoft Adobe Design suite.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"We use the product in our marketing department to edit fonts, illustrations, and videos."
"Adobe Photoshop has Zenity VI, which is very helpful in Photoshop. You can do many things without actively going to a tool. It’s just like a command in Photoshop, and it will automatically do a job."
"The key benefits of Adobe Creative Cloud for Business would be collaboration, security, and familiar tools with a user interface that is designed for particular segments and verticals."
"The standardization of our software is based on color levels, shapes, parameters, and more. Adobe sets the market standard, so we rely on Adobe for color Pantone numbers and other specifications."
"The most valuable feature of the solution is having access to the full Adobe Suite and seamlessly moving projects between themselves because it's such a cohesive ecosystem."
"The standout feature lies in its ability to consolidate all essential tools for creative professionals into a unified platform."
"The Vector design components of the CorelDraw software allow for a broader range of cleaner and aesthetically appealing designs to be implemented."

Cons

"It would be beneficial for Adobe to enhance certain tools and capabilities to function entirely online through a web browser."
"Adobe Creative Cloud needs to improve the process of sending objects and files from one software to another."
"Premier Pro's editing program crashes a lot."
"They have a significant weakness in photo editing, lacking options for node editing, non-linear decompositing, and layer management. This leads to storage issues, requiring a separate disk for scratching. Additionally, there's a lack of seamless integration between software like Illustrator and Photoshop, making collaborative projects challenging. Unlike Autodesk, there's no multi-format support."
"Adobe has a pricing policy which is very unusual. They offer the same set of products to an online user at 1/10th the cost while charging the business user a very high premium."
"The solution needs a little bit of revamp. It has a pretty old interface."
"I would like to see a far more comprehensive support site with detailed guides, tutorials, and tips for producing corporate-level designs."
"Corel Draw is a far more convenient option for designers and illustrators due to the lower costs of the software but the support surrounding the software is not as significant as the Microsoft Adobe Design suite."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution's pricing is pretty good for a complete cloud suite with many programs."
"Adobe Creative Cloud's comprehensive offer of around five to six hundred dollars provides access to the entire suite of forty to fifty software applications."
"The price is appropriate for all enterprises, whether medium or small."
"The costs surrounding the CorelDraw software are far lower than most of the commercial-level design suites such as the Adobe Master collection."
