We use Barracuda SSL VPN for network connection The product is easy to connect. There could be more security features included in the product. We are the latest version of Barracuda SSL VPN. I rate Barracuda SSL VPN's stability an eight or nine out of ten. We have 30-40 Barracuda SSL VPN…

The analytics I downloaded from your site as a free download did not carry the information that was actually required. I was looking at the market segmentation and market share, along with some USPs which differentiated them from each other. The free download had two issues: many things were repetitive, and it was designed to not release any relevant information. Only headers were present, so I was not able to determine whether the final report would be worthwhile. I have not worked with enterprise tools that I could share feedback on for website publication. I see benefits from using Cisco Secure Client (including AnyConnect). However, I would not recommend it because future adoptions will be towards Zscaler, as SSC is a better model than VPN. On a scale of 1-10, I rate this solution a 7.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"It's a stand alone system that functions well."
"This solution is valuable because it's a stand alone system and doesn't disconnect, it functions well, it's a good software and good system, and I believe it's a better product than Cisco."
"The product is easy to connect."
"The most valuable feature would be that you can actually narrow down your session to one application on one server, which is really nice."
"The setup is straightforward and hassle-free."
"What I find most valuable is the total cost of ownership."
"Cisco Secure Client (including AnyConnect) is a straightforward and simple product that works effectively."
"On Cisco's side, the Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) story is quite valuable."
"It's a very scalable solution. We are using the maximum licensing they offer, and it's very affordable given the value."
"The most valuable feature is the connection feature."
"The most valuable feature of Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client is the consistency, I have not had any issues with the performance."
"Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client is good for securing our connection. It is very easy to use, I click to use it and it works."
"You can use it from anywhere."
"The dashboard and interface are fine."

Cons

"They are good, but sometimes it can take weeks to solve an issue."
"Reporting could be improved."
"Since it's not going to be getting any more software updates as per the end of this year, we have to move off to a different product.."
"There could be more security features included in the product."
"Barracuda should find other ways to stir up interest about this product."
"I'm not noticing any missing features."
"The configuration from the client-side would be useful. Right now, it's not centralized. There should be a lock so that it can only be configured from one place."
"The setup is a bit difficult to handle on the server-side."
"If user authentication has already been done on a device, maybe there could be connectivity directly without needing to log in each time I access the service."
"As with most Cisco products, standing by itself, this solution is not perfect."
"I would like to see improvements in regards to the connectivity speed."
"When using Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client when my laptop goes into sleep mode the VPN wants me to enter the password again. I should not have to enter the information again. If the laptop is on and it is not switched off, the password should be in the VPN saved and secured."
"Cisco Secure Client is quite solid, but the license terms are complex and could be improved."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The product is affordable and reasonably priced so it would make a lot of sense for people to use it long-term."
"Barracuda SSL VPN is inexpensive."
"I would rate the pricing for the license of Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client around four to five out of ten. It's not the cheapest option, but it's also not overly expensive."
"Sometimes there is a problem with the number of licenses for the end-user. The number of concurrent users is limited due to a valid license."
"It costs around 80,000 Indian rupees for a hundred licenses, so approximately $1,020 USD."
"There is a license needed to use this solution. There are different licensing models available, such as a three-year license."
"We have yearly licensing and it's very affordable."
"The licensing costs are reasonable."
"My company has a three-year or a four-year license. In scenarios attached to a solution where the product may be reaching an end-of-support or end-of-life phase, Cisco provides OS support in such environments."
"The initial cost is the ASA and other items, but after that, it is relatively inexpensive."
