Centralized authentication has simplified Linux access and now saves major admin time
One Identity Safeguard Authentication Services has had a positive impact on the organization. It has simplified user management by centralizing authentication, eliminating the need to manage separate accounts on different systems. It also improves security since access can be controlled directly from Active Directory. It has reduced manual effort, made operations more consistent, and is time-saving. A good amount of time savings has been realized with One Identity Safeguard Authentication Services. Previously, managing users separately on Linux systems required considerable effort. However, with centralized authentication, around 60% to 65% of manual effort has been reduced. Additionally, tasks such as access revocation are much faster now. Simply disabling the AD account takes care of everything. Overall, it has saved time and made operations much more efficient.
