Dashboard customization is needed for improvements. While the centralized management is strong, the dashboard could offer more flexibility. It would be helpful to tailor views for different roles, such as IT or security support. Regarding needed improvements, custom report building could be enhanced. Current reports are informative, and a drag-and-drop builder would allow teams to create tailored views for compliance, executive summaries, or operational metrics. For further improvements, enhancing threat simulation and testing would be valuable. Building a threat simulation tool and adding native capabilities to simulate phishing, malware, or ransomware scenarios will help teams validate protection and train users without relying on third-party tools.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The endpoint protection is the solution's most valuable feature."
"I like the simplicity of this solution and the fact that it saves us time. The deployment was really straightforward and useful and I am impressed by the anti-virus endpoint detection and response offered by this solution."
"The solution has exchange protection. It has a content control, device control, a firewall, and anti-malware as well. They are all quite valuable features for us."
"Its ability to rollback anti-ransomware once an attack has started is the most valuable feature."
"Endpoint protection is valuable. Stability is good, and the product is well-designed for security needs."
"The security is its most valuable feature."
"During a ransomware attack that targeted several laptops, Check Point Harmony Endpoint immediately isolated the affected device and blocked the malicious process before it could spread."
"It prevents the most imminent threats to the endpoint such as ransomware, phishing or drive-by malware, while quickly minimizing breach impact with autonomous detection and response."
"It is a great, cost-effective, and stable security solution to opt for."
"It has a great ability to detect threats and keep us safe."
"We are able to manage all our endpoints from a single cloud console."

Cons

"There are blurred lines between anti-virus and endpoint detection so I would say it can be confusing when you are considering buying this program. I would like to see that being explained better to the customer."
"There needs to be better integration with the environment. Especially, for the active directory and also for keeping up with the changes from Microsoft. We use a lot of Microsoft OS. I have noted that sometimes they lag behind Microsoft updates. For example, when with Windows 10. I had some issues with deploying to Windows 10 because the solution was behind in updating their own services to match the Microsoft release."
"The database needs improvement. It needs to be updated quite a bit."
"A couple of times, we experienced some sales issues."
"The solution could improve VPN functionality and the VPN user-interface."
"I would like to see is this same solution being able to link with the services of different corporate networks as if they were a remote access VPN extension and thus not require additional licenses."
"The price of the product could be more friendly."
"It blocks safe URLs sometimes when there are network interruptions."
"Check Point Harmony Endpoint could improve by allowing it to work on older systems by reducing the system requirements. Since our systems are dated we can only use the antivirus module features."
"The network monitoring features must be improved."
"Currently, you can only have general reports of the threats removed and the behavior of the database. You cannot get separate reports of the Check Point service-linked devices."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"There's a yearly cost for licensing. For us, that comes to $1,400. There are no additional costs beyond the license itself."
"Choosing the correct set of licenses is essential because, without the additional software blade licenses, the Check Point gateways are just a stateful firewall."
"The tool’s cost has increased by almost 300% in two years."
"Check Point Harmony Endpoint is cost effective."
"We pay on an annual basis. There are no additional fees, they mostly tell us what we have to pay. We have budgeted for it."
"The pricing is reasonable."
"I rate the product price a four on a scale of one to ten, where one is low, and ten is high."
"The licensing cost for Check Point is $3 USD or $4 USD per end-user."
"In comparison to other software solutions available on the market, it comes at a higher price point."
