Has improved credential security with remote password change and role-based access
I have not faced any significant issues with Delinea Secret Server during this period of time, but we had a problem with a web password filler, which is a template used for accessing a web URL using Secret Server, where we faced some session management issues since session management is not applicable for the web password filler. This should be the improvement that we require from Delinea Secret Server. The session management is not applicable in this case; we can manage the session and have session management inside the remote systems within the organization. However, when it comes to web-related access, we can access directly through Delinea Secret Server. We can access any URL through Secret Server, but the problem is that the session cannot be managed on the web URL due to it having multiple systems. I do not have any other recommendations regarding the improvement of Delinea Secret Server at this time.

Positive feedback highlights lightweight design and compatibility while suggesting more AI integration
Silverfort helps identify blind spots in your identity and access management, covering areas that traditional systems don't, such as command line tools. It checks your Active Directory authentication and continues only if the check is okay, plus it works with older protocols such as NTLM, which is a significant advantage. It's complementary to other tools you may have, whether they are TAM solutions such as Delinea or Xerox. Silverfort also has a lightweight adapter for domain controllers, and it finds gaps in security. Its capabilities are expanding regularly, with new features voted on every few months. For companies with large Active Directory implementations and zero staff, Silverfort provides instant results in identifying risks and blind spots. It also includes built-in virtual features, and while I don't know the exact pricing, it's not expensively priced, making it an attractive option.

Pros

"The most valuable feature of Delinea Secret Server is secret password management."
"I like that you can change the password remotely."
"I have found most valuable the automatic scheduled password rotation and remote desktop monitoring. Additionally, the documentation is readily available and easy to find and the dashboard is straightforward."
"It works for us."
"One valuable feature is that it will support a dedicated database. Delinea provides multiple features, like reporting and remote password changes."
"The user interface is quite good. It's very straightforward."
"The solution is good."
"It is a stable solution."
"Silverfort helps identify blind spots in your identity and access management, covering areas that traditional systems don't, such as command line tools."

Cons

"In terms of what could be improved, the whole thing with distributed engines, et cetera, is a little bit tricky."
"The API is no good."
"Support could be better. I have heard about a lot of problems in the Bangladesh market. People are saying that there are support issues. So, Delinea should focus on support and services."
"The tool should integrate additional features like OCR."
"It is expensive compared to other solutions in this category and for what it does."
"One of the product areas that could be improved is the ease of handling SSL certificates within the application."
"I would like to see improvement with the integration with Azure Active Directory. This would mean that we can have support on multiple platforms such as Windows, Linux, and Mac."
"I think that the main interface should integrate better with non-standard applications and clients, to connect with other systems."
"If Silverfort could integrate a gentle type of AI similar to Microsoft Copilot or enable workflow creation similar to Salesforce, it would further improve user navigation, even though the platform is already simple."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"In the Nigerian market, the adoption of Delinea depends largely on an organization's budget. If they have the financial capacity, they might consider Delinea as a viable option."
"The tool's pricing is expensive."
"Compared to other solutions, Delinea Secret Server is competitively priced but on the higher side."
"I would give the price a four on a scale from one to ten, with one being the cheapest and ten being the most expensive. We pay for the license on a yearly basis, and we paid for three years. It costs around 5000 a year."
"There is an annual license needed to use Delinea Secret Server."
"Secret Server is expensive when compared to the cost to some alternatives."
"The pricing is standard in this business and we have no complaints about it."
"It isn't terribly expensive."
