Cloud-native security has improved real-time threat detection and streamlined daily operations
While CrowdStrike Falcon is strong overall, there are a few areas where it could be improved. First, the user interface can be a bit complex for new users. Sometimes, navigating through different sections and understanding detailed alerts takes time, especially for teams without deep security expertise. The cost is also something to consider, as the features and additional modules can increase pricing, which may be a challenge for smaller teams. Additionally, some integrations with simpler reporting would be helpful. The onboarding process for new users is a bit challenging for beginners to understand all features and workflows in the product. More simplified documentation, step-by-step guides, and real-world examples could help new users get comfortable faster. A structured onboarding or basic training module would be very useful for teams who are new to endpoint security tools. In addition, having more in-product guidance and tooltips within the dashboard could make navigation easier and reduce the learning curve. Overall, improving training resources and onboarding support would make the platform more user-friendly, especially for new users.

Positive feedback highlights lightweight design and compatibility while suggesting more AI integration
I think Silverfort is actually a really good product. Silverfort helps identify blind spots in your identity and access management, covering areas that traditional systems don't, such as command line tools. It checks your Active Directory authentication and continues only if the check is okay, plus it works with older protocols such as NTLM, which is a significant advantage. The product is fairly new, but it's great; it's lightweight and agent-based, acting as a bridge between your Active Directory and any other application, with no impact on the applications. Silverfort is one of the few vendors that offers a free POC, and usually the customer ends up taking it, as they've lost very few deals in this manner. It's complementary to other tools you may have, whether they are TAM solutions such as Delinea or Xerox. Silverfort also has a lightweight adapter for domain controllers, and it finds gaps in security. Its capabilities are expanding regularly, with new features voted on every few months. For companies with large Active Directory implementations and zero staff, Silverfort provides instant results in identifying risks and blind spots. It also includes built-in virtual features, and while I don't know the exact pricing, it's not expensively priced, making it an attractive option.

Pros

"The UI is simple and self-explanatory. Everything is easy to understand."
"All the features are beneficial."
"The detection is very effective."
"CrowdStrike's advantage is that the agent is light, so it doesn't require many resources on the machines, it's easy to install, and the results are useful to the organization."
"The solution is silent and sits on your system as one single agent."
"So far, in the past three years, they've been absolutely great."
"It improves a lot of our security operations for threat management, and it provides a lot for our day-to-day operations too."
"CrowdStrike enables the infrastructure managers to visualize all the events and get information about the network."
"Silverfort helps identify blind spots in your identity and access management, covering areas that traditional systems don't, such as command line tools."

Cons

"The solution isn't known in my market. The brand isn't as recognizable. Their shortcomings are more on the marketing side."
"I have experience with a product called SentinelOne, which has a feature that allows for the customization of query languages. I would like to see such a feature for CloudStrike."
"The solution could improve the policies themselves. It would be helpful if there were cost-cutting measures."
"The pricing is a bit too high."
"The solution could improve the policies themselves."
"There are some areas where some customers would prefer a different service."
"The Integration with tools, SOC tools, could be better."
"While CrowdStrike Falcon is strong overall, there are a few areas where it could be improved. First, the user interface can be a bit complex for new users."
"If Silverfort could integrate a gentle type of AI similar to Microsoft Copilot or enable workflow creation similar to Salesforce, it would further improve user navigation, even though the platform is already simple."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"CrowdStrike Falcon offers excellent value for the money for our organization, particularly given our lean IT team."
"Annual licensing."
"There are approximately a hundred different modules you have to purchase, depending on what you want to do. I have most of the modules. How it works is you buy the portfolio, you have to decide all the components you want in it, and then they price out a bundle for you. I have almost all of the package features in my bundle. You only need to pay for the modules you want."
"Crowdstrike Falcon is relatively cheap."
"There are three to four licensing models available to choose from for CrowdStrike Falcon. The price of CrowdStrike Falcon depends on the distributor and the reseller partner. The price we received was good."
"We pay between $30-50 per user for a yearly license, which is more expensive than SentinelOne or Bitdefender. However, CrowdStrike gives better value for money."
"This solution offers annual subscriptions. The pricing for this solution could be reduced."
"Our licensing fees were between $50,000 and $60,000 per year, which was pretty expensive for a small business."
