Users only need to install the VPN and authenticate with their email address
I primarily use remote VPN solutions to connect securely. We have configured both site-to-site VPN and remote VPN, and it is connected to FortiClient Implementing this solution has streamlined time management in our organization. Without SSO, we would need manual configuration for each PC, but…

A tool that offers good UI and documentation
Webroot Business Endpoint Protection had sent me a physical installation medium, which was very easy to obtain and deploy. It was also easy to configure, and it had a nice UI. I didn't have any problems with the product. I think that Webroot Business Endpoint Protection is very transparent about the pricing models offered to users. The tool also maintains transparency about the features and specifications. Previously, when I compared the two products with Webroot Business Endpoint Protection, I saw that with Trend Micro, it is very difficult to transparently find out what it offers and how much it charges for it.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The integration with Active Directory is a valuable feature, allowing SSO for users."
"Fortinet FortiClient can be used with FortiManager to observe all actions that are happening."
"I strongly recommend this solution, especially for Fortinet customers who use FortiGate or other Fortinet products, as they can easily integrate these features and exchange information seamlessly."
"I use the tool to connect server to an ISP Data Center."
"It's simple, downloadable, and there's usually no problem."
"Fortinet FortiClient helped me reduce the attack surface by providing the ability to centrally view what is happening, allowing me to view everything from a single pane of glass, making it very easy now to react or respond based on what I'm seeing on the network."
"It is a fantastic product. Its overall security is valuable. We are very impressed with the web filtering and the application firewall it provides."
"The stability is pretty good."
"I like that Webroot is very lightweight. It didn't bog down the machine, and more importantly, it had heuristics artificial intelligence to some degree. It wasn't like full-blown artificial intelligence, but something where you have one endpoint recognizing issues because it maintains a cloud database. If one client recognizes a threat, it would add it to the database, and almost immediately, every agent in the world would also know about that threat. That was very appealing to us. However, now it's becoming commonplace, whereas ventures like Symantec and McAfee were based more on the traditional model of definition and updates, and we were always falling behind. Webroot also has pretty good technical support."
"Low performance requirements."
"Webroot's tech support is pretty good; they've given me some pointers."
"Their policy management, their cloud-based dashboard and user interface are very easy to navigate."
"The Webroot cloud console is very powerful."
"The initial setup was straightforward. It took five minutes. I installed the solution myself."
"It is very light. It is the only solution that can be installed on a machine that already has an antivirus. It is a pretty complete solution."
"Webroot Business Endpoint Protection is very scalable."

Cons

"The user interface could be more inviting."
"Fortinet frequently releases updates without thorough testing. We encounter issues due to multiple vulnerabilities, which leads to problems."
"The pricing could use improvement."
"I haven't found that that solution does anything amazing."
"Compatibility issues between different versions."
"More integration would be beneficial."
"While we like patch management, it would be nice if it could handle patch management for other solutions, like Microsoft."
"The features of Fortinet FortiClient could be improved."
"I believe that Webroot Business Endpoint Protection should offer a more modern UI."
"Unified threat management (UTM) integration."
"I want Webroot to be easier to use and set up. It is not very intuitive."
"Webroot Business Endpoint Protection needs to improve its ability to detect threats."
"There needs to be more advanced analytics. It would make it a more powerful antivirus solution within the marketplace."
"We need more control over when upgrades to the app are rolled out."
"Webroot Business Endpoint Protection needs to focus on how they can widen their area of scope by not just being an antivirus tool anymore. The shortcoming in the customization area of the tool needs improvement."
"Webroot is very reactionary. It waits until the threat is active within memory to try and detect it. They need better pre-execution detection and prevention."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I don't know it by heart, but it is comparable to other solutions. It is based on the number of clients. It is probably 50 Euros per year per client. It greatly depends on the number of clients you're handling because the more clients you are ordering it for, the cheaper it will be."
"The pricing is reasonable."
"The price is okay and competitive."
"The licensing fee varies with what one is trying to accomplish. It can range from being free to costing several hundred thousand dollars per year."
"The price is reasonable compared to competitors, it is very good."
"Fortinet requires you to buy a lot of product in order for you to have proper protection."
"Generally, Fortinet is not cheap. The features that are available for free are only for FortiClient VPN clients, not other solutions. It includes web security, antivirus, and one more feature."
"The product's licensing is yearly and expensive."
"The solution is very cost-effective."
"If you purchase for clients, then you are the managing billing entity. It's better to either get a monthly subscription check from your clients, or to prepay for the year (so as to not keep cash in reserve to pay the bill each month) IMHO."
"Work on a price tier plan."
"I think the price is fairly reasonable. I was really prepared to pay more, but the price is fine."
"Webroot Business Endpoint Protection is not too expensive. My licenses cost me between $300 and $400. It is really good price wise."
"I can't recall the exact pricing, but I believe there is a monthly fee of $20-30 per user."
"With Webroot Business Endpoint Protection, I can select a yearly billing cycle."
"Webroot is less expensive than SentinelOne."
