Shows group analytics with good UI but needs improvement in GPO
The solution helps with group analytics.  Imanami GroupID's UI is good.  The product's implementation is complex. It should also work on GPO.  I have been using the solution for two years.  I rate the tool's stability an eight out of ten.  I rate Imanami GroupID's scalability an eight out of…

Reporting features have supported regular user management while some automation capabilities remain unused
While the features in ManageEngine ADManager Plus are very good, not all features are necessary for every organization. Automation is a strong feature within the product but is not currently required due to the organization's environment and needs. There are always possibilities for improvements in the initial setup of ManageEngine ADManager Plus.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Imanami GroupID's UI is good."
"I have found the overall features to be useful."
"For each job code, we go through and determine the access they're supposed to have to the system, and based on that job code, we use the query tool so that anybody who is in this job code gets these groups added to them, or conversely, if they change job codes, it removes the ones that they shouldn't have and adds the one they should, which runs every night so that the next day everybody has the job codes they're supposed to have."
"The most valuable feature is the dashboard. They allow me to see everything in real-time and drill down and pick and choose versus running scripts."
"It makes our job easier, especially for managing data for a bulk of users."
"With ADManager, I can easily complete any Active Directory tasks from anywhere, making it an excellent solution."
"Simple with good automation."
"Almost every feature of the solution is valuable to me, including the importing and exporting to the active directory from the CSC firewall, and the user interface is good."
"It is a stable solution."
"The scalability is also good. ADManager Plus is being used by seven to eight system administrators right now, and it has been working fine."
"The solution offers very good reports for management purposes."

Cons

"The mobile application needs to be improved and there should be chatbox features to allow users to easily reach out for assistance."
"The product's implementation is complex. It should also work on GPO."
"I'd like to see a better user interface. It works, but it is clunky. There should be better import and export of LDAP queries and better management tools."
"Scalability, including the ability to add new users, is rated as six out of ten."
"Other products have more flexibility and integration in managing identities."
"The solution is very complex, especially when there's an active directory of more than 1,000 users, which makes it hard to administrate. They need to improve the management of the administrative process."
"With the number of available integrations these days, it would be beneficial to have more ready-to-integrate technologies in other products as well."
"Some things are not very intuitive."
"The solution should be made tablet friendly because it works well on iPhones and Android phones, but does not work on tablets."
"API integrations are not supported for all HR tools. For example, Workday is supported but SAP HCM is not."
"The main downside is that, for my environment, I must have two products to conduct the same purpose."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The price of the solution is reasonable."
"It is on a yearly basis, and it has the product license fee and the support for it. So, there is the licensing fee, and there is the annual maintenance that includes the support. I don't remember exactly, but we're probably paying somewhere in the neighborhood of $20,000 to $30,000 for it per year. We've got a pretty large implementation of it, and for the amount that we do, it is a pretty good deal. I would rate it a four out of five in terms of pricing."
"The tool's pricing is good."
"It is not expensive."
"I downloaded the trial version, only."
"The pricing depends on scope and makes sense for use cases with multiple domains."
"The cost of this product is a little higher than I would expect for a tool like this."
"I need to pay for the license, and I believe that it could be made cheaper."
"I am satisfied with the solution’s pricing."
