Integration workflows have become transparent and secure while error tracking is streamlined
The best features in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform for me are transparency between logging in or deploying and using different environments. Managing different environments for the transparency of error logins or how to trace traceability is very important. It's very easy to use and sort, so you can see where everything has gone right and everything has gone wrong. I'm aware of the drag-and-drop interface in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, and it's very, very quick. It's very time-saving and very efficient. The security features on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform help maintain data integrity in my organization; I would say it's second to none. It's one of the best out there that I have worked with because of the encryption and decryption, and there are a lot of security aspects. I would assess the platform's data mapping and transformation capabilities as amazing. Automation has been straightforward; the transformation and mapping have been easy to use, easy to source, and from the source to the target. I would say it has been very good.

Industry-leading, easy to implement, and has good mapping specification guidelines
The good thing about OpenText is that we have the mapping specification guideline available, which is not there in a solution like SEEBURGER. Whenever you want to take a decision to move away from OpenText, you have already documented your mapping and what your mapping looks like. So you go to the next provider, provide them with that mapping specification, and it'll be very easy for them to develop a new map instead of just taking the data - input data, output data - and then looking for how the data is getting transformed. So you have the mapping spec level which is a very good feature of OpenText, which we do not have in SEEBURGER. It's very hard to move from SEEBURGER. The solution is easy to implement. It's stable and reliable. They are the industry leaders in the integration space.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most valuable feature of this solution is the ease of developing APIs."
"Initially, we faced challenges managing numerous scheduled jobs and duplicate entries in our SAP system. To address this, we developed a reusable component in Mule that all applications could use to interact with SAP."
"The integration potential is excellent, it has a very good database, there is no complexity during the initial setup, the solution is scalable, the stability is great, we have found the documentation to be excellent, and it has very good filters available."
"It's easy to develop APIs."
"Overall, it is a pretty good product and it is also very scalable."
"Customers can make use of Runtime Fabric, an RTF environment."
"The tool's visual features are attractive."

"The good thing about OpenText is that we have the mapping specification guideline available, which is not there in a solution like SEEBURGER."

Cons

"The product is expensive."
"I think the downsides or areas for improvement in this solution involve exploring more on the AI side of how seamlessly AI can be integrated for these integration works."
"This becomes an expensive solution over time."
"Anypoint MQ's capabilities are mainly used for messaging purposes, but it doesn't have typical use cases that extend as far as other Message Queue software."
"We would like an entire DevOps in place in this particular solution, which would help us in terms of automation."
"Better documentation, in particular with respect to the initial setup, would be helpful."
"The product does not provide a priority level for the message."
"The logs in terms of how the logs are populated could be improved."
"Technical support isn't the greatest. The transparency is less than you sometimes need."
"Technical support needs to be better."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The product is still very expensive."
"I can't give you a straightforward answer because sometimes it depends on the usage. If you're going to have fewer than 5 million messages, it is free of cost. If you're going to have more than 5 million messages, they're going to charge $100 per month"
"Mule Anypoint Platform is affordable."
"I rate the product price a nine on a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive."
"The tool's pricing is cheaper than other RPAs' since it is execution-based. Other RPAs charge based on subscriptions."
"The solution's pricing, as per the old approach, is expensive."
"MuleSoft Anypoint Platform really needs to work on its pricing model because it's very complicated."
"The solution has a high price."
