Use of NethServer as DNS and DHCP along with Domain controller and multiple NIC cards
Few of the pointers marked below on the products improvement(s).. - A separate documentation section should be there for custom/DIY application installations and how to make it a part of hosted menu. - More work needs to be done on UI. - Some work would be required to allow systems integrators to configure LVMs and RAID with ease. - Preparing the HDD/SSD to ready to be used and to create Partition takes hell-lot-of time, this needs more work to be done. - NethServer 7.9.xxx is EOL, 8 is already in making, hope for the best! - CAPTCHA security code - capabilities should be added.

Collaborative development has become more secure and efficient for our team
We have faced some issues with Windows OneDrive because if one developer has a folder in a common OneDrive folder, it took some time to show it to others. It becomes somewhat difficult to work, as there is latency on that, so if you update that, it will be more efficient and useful for the developers. My main focus on Windows 10 is the giving of regular updates, so it might take some time to update Windows, which is also mandatory. As a developer, when we are working with Windows 10, if it takes more time to update and restart the PC, it affects our efficiency at work. If we could stop the updates on a regular basis or if they were delivered faster, it would be easier. As a developer, the frequent updates are too annoying for working on it, so it would be better if we stop the frequent updates and only provide the most important ones. Performance issues over time due to background apps and programs piling up and using an SSD instead of a hard disk are also concerns.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Most important advantage of NethServer is - it gives "one-stop-solution" for SMB's, MsMe's and Startup businesses all-at-one place with virtually no cost other than the setup cost and the quality of the product is appreciable and acceptable with no vendor-lock-in."
"My impression is that the security via Windows Defender is good enough that I no longer feel a need for another third-party security solution, which had always been the case in the past."
"I like the performance of the solution and its user-friendliness."
"I've been very satisfied with this operating system."
"Windows 10 provides integration capabilities and operational efficiency."
"I like that Windows 10 is very stable, and I think Windows 10 is more smooth and performs better than the previous Windows system."
"I like how Windows 10 is quite stable."
"Windows 10 is very good; they build a lot on the stages, which has helped in making Windows 11 an improved version, and it is easy to use."
"The system is very fast and quick."

Cons

"Preparing the HDD/SSD to ready to be used and to create Partition takes hell-lot-of time, this needs more work to be done."
"The solution could improve by being more secure and having a better user interface."
"I think the user interface can be a little bit better."
"The speed and performance should be improved."
"Windows 10 isn't as stable as MacOS and requires too many patches. When the patches are installing, it slows down the PC. These changes are complex, and many processes are running simultaneously, so we experience a decrease in speed."
"The main issue is related to the patch security management that is released. The updates take a lot of time to complete, and they could be faster."
"It may be due to the features and apps that I use, but sometimes, I find my laptop slows down."
"It could have faster updates."
"I haven't seen a return on investment with Windows 10 and I can't share any relevant metrics, such as time saved, fewer employees needed, or money saved."
