Even moving the service over to another server can be done very easily. Although, having the ability to automate some things would be nice.
Customer Service: Customer service is 10/10. The sales rep I dealt with was great and always stays in communication. Technical Support: Technical Support is 10/10. They have a chat window, where you can start a chat after you log in to your server if you are having a problem. They even have a way to create a ticket from the login screen in the configured options, in which you can attach logs directly.

Have faced limitations due to high costs but have maintained reliability over time
The primary issue is the pricing, which is very expensive for my company's budget. We cannot afford to pay such a large fee. We are not Microsoft or BMW; we are a small company. As a small company, I have no power to negotiate directly with VMware. Perhaps larger companies have more opportunity to contract directly with VMware, but I do not have that leverage. The only path I can follow is to change solutions. Net.spA is a company working in the field of waste management. We are not a technological company, so we do not have a large margin to justify purchasing and maintaining the VMware infrastructure at current costs.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"With a single click, anyone can find and fix old, broken or invalid snapshots."
"The ability to analyze my virtual infrastructure data against a rule base of 730+ rules has been the most valuable."
"VMware Aria Operations has positively impacted incident response times, making it easier to solve problems with virtualization."
"Instead of having a lot of people spend time doing manual tasks, it allows us to have dashboards and instantly show us any issues that we have, rather than trolling through log files."
"It's much easier to show problems to users."
"vRealize Operations has proved to be a cost effective solution for our big environment."
"We haven't had any issues with vROps."
"I definitely recommend vROps; I think it's a complete package, as I’ve mentioned, it integrates well, it gives us a single pane of glass, we can add on different agents for different applications, SQL or whatever we need, and it really gives us a lot of insight into what's going on in the environment."
"Do yourself a favor and look at vROps."
"The most valuable feature is the reporting, being able to give accurate reports to our management on what's going on in our VMware environment, for example, if they want to know what capacity is remaining on certain systems."

Cons

"Having the ability to automate some things would be nice but is not a requirement with the product today."
"One of the expectations would be to have third-party integrations, plug-ins like with Lumidor."
"More HTML 5 would also be good. I wish vSphere Client would mirror it. I wish they announced it on day one of 6.7."
"Some of the more advanced stuff takes a bit of time to dig into it. It takes a little longer to setup if you want really detailed stuff. They could make the learning curve smoother."
"Adding some intelligence to VMware Aria Operations, such as event correlation, and some level of AI apps will improve the solution, similar to what we see with the more advanced monitoring solutions that we don't currently have."
"I would like to see multi-cloud support. It would be nice to see analytics not only on-prem but on VMWare Cloud on AWS. I think that's in the roadmap."
"One thing I don't like is, all the scales are self-referencing. So when I get a number one, is that one out of ten, one out of a hundred? I don't know. So I can say these servers are performing ten times better than that server but I don't know where the scale goes."
"When you are at your lowest, support is pretty bad. They ask you dumb questions but when you come to second and upper service desk, it is much easier and much better to talk to and resolve the issue."
"If you're not a vROps guy from the beginning, it's a high learning curve."
