Has many add-on services and supports different authentication methods
The SAP Integration Suite can work with different authentication methods. It supports physical authentication, certificate-based integration, and mTLS authentication. This allows customers to choose the best integration approach based on their policies and procedures. Additionally, the suite offers both push and data integration capabilities. The SAP Integration Suite has different add-ons and services that are easy to activate. You can create chatbots and integrate them with websites and apps. You can also build custom customer apps from scratch using various technologies. These apps can be based on databases or programming languages like Java. The suite also supports special intelligence like machine learning, although we haven't used it yet. It offers various methods, such as API management. Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The technical support services are good."
"The most beneficial feature of SAP Integration Suite for our operation is its capability to enable API-based cloud applications to integrate seamlessly with SAP S/4HANA."
"The most beneficial feature for our clients is the easy access to their information, achieved effortlessly through integration."
"The SAP Integration Suite can work with different authentication methods. It supports physical authentication, certificate-based integration, and mTLS authentication. This allows customers to choose the best integration approach based on their policies and procedures. Additionally, the suite offers both push and data integration capabilities."
"The solution is easy to use."
"Oracle's self-service capabilities, of which we make extensive use, is the most valuable feature."
"The MFT component of webMethods, for example, is easy to set up and convenient to use. It handles files very efficiently and it is easy to automate tasks with complex schedules. Monitoring is centralized to MWS which can be used to monitor other products as well (Trading Networks, BPM, MFT, etc.)"
"The product is very stable."
"EDI is robust and integration with SAP is good."
"WebMethods.io is a powerful tool, but it requires skilled people who can fully utilize its potential."
"Currently, we're using this solution for the integration server which helps us to integrate with the mainframe."
"Operationally, I consider the solution to be quite good."
"I like the stability of the webMethods Integration Server."

Cons

"The product's UI could be faster."
"The setup process for the SAP integration Suite is not straightforward. It involves some technical aspects and can be complex."
"The instances are costly."
"They could provide graphical data for over-viewing metrics such as payments, receipts, creditors, and refunds."
"I believe there are areas where SAP Integration Suite could be improved, such as enhancing message transformation capabilities and simplifying conditional routing features compared to the on-premise tool SAP PO (Process Orchestration)."
"The products, at the moment, are new and there should perhaps be support for the older version of the protocols."
"Documentation needs tuning. There is a lot of dependency with SoftwareAG. Even with the documentation at hand, you can struggle to implement scenarios without SAG’s help. By contrast, IBM’s documentation is self-explanatory, in my opinion."
"webMethods.io lacks advanced monitoring and analytics capabilities, so my customers need to use something additional."
"Upgrades are complex. They typically take about five months from start to finish. There are many packages that plug into webMethods Integration Server, which is the central point for a vast majority of the transactions at my organization. Anytime we are upgrading that, there are complexities within each component that we must understand. That makes any upgrade very cumbersome and complicated. That has been my experience at this company. Because there are many different business units that we are touching, there are so many different components that we are touching. The amount of READMEs that you have to go through takes some time."
"Rules engine processes and BPM processes should be improved."
"Technical support is an area where they can improve."
"The learning curve is a little steep at first."
"Prices should be reduced, ideally by up to 30% for long-term customers like us."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I'm not well-versed in the details of pricing and standard licensing for SAP Integration Suite as I primarily focus on technical aspects. As far as I know, clients can choose between different levels of offerings based on their messaging frequency and business requirements, with premium levels offering more features and customization options."
"It is inexpensive for smaller businesses and expensive for larger businesses."
"I rate its pricing a five out of ten."
"I do think webMethods is coming under increasing pressure when it comes to their price-to-feature value proposition. It's probably the single biggest strategic risk they have. They're very expensive in their industry. They've been raising the price recently, especially when compared with their competitors."
"Its cost depends on the use cases."
"There is a license needed to use the webMethods Integration Server."
"webMethods.io is expensive. We have multiple components, and you need to pay for each of them."
"The product is expensive."
"webMethods.io Integration's pricing is high and has yearly subscription costs."
"It is a cost-effective solution."
"The solution's development license is free for three to six months. We have to pay for other things."
