AI-powered discovery enhances threat visibility while customer support excels
I am a reseller. One of our customers suffered an attack a few months ago, and they discovered that they have some data available on the deep and dark web. The biggest driver for using ThreatMon was takedown services. SIEM integration into their incident response was also essential. They wanted…

Built faster threat response and improved visibility with real-time monitoring and flexible deployment
TrendAI Vision One allows us to monitor attacks in real time, which is a significant benefit. We can quickly see where the attack is coming from. TrendAI Vision One enables us to use different products with a flexible license. For example, if a customer is using endpoint security and wants to switch to another solution, they can instantly use a different Trend Micro product, such as email. TrendAI Vision One has helped to reduce the time to detect and respond to different threats, as it can respond to attacks very quickly. With playbook templates, in cases of recurring attacks, responses can be made quickly using predefined playbooks. TrendAI Vision One has helped to reduce noise from false positives. There have been false positives before, but it was due to the customer not telling us which app they were using. Best practice configurations must be applied properly to avoid such issues. TrendAI Vision One helps customers consolidate the use of security vendors and reduce silos by offering one platform for all product management.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Machine learning or AI discovery, which discovers our resources on the deep and dark web, has been very useful."
"I would recommend ThreatMon."
"My overall experience with TrendAI Vision One is very good."
"The best features in TrendAI Vision One are the workbench and the XDR feature for the playbooks; we continue to use these two features extensively."
"It is really straightforward, it is very easy to understand, and therefore, I highly recommend the solution."
"Overall, I rate Trend Vision One a ten out of ten as I am extremely happy with Trend Micro's capabilities and their platform's strength."
"Threat detection and response time has been reduced by 70–90%, risks are now identified within minutes instead of half an hour, false positives have decreased significantly, and the company now feels very secure."
"The organizational view simplifies management and improves visibility, helping us identify areas for action."
"Our speed has increased significantly."
"Compared to my previous experience where I worked on some other EDR tools, TrendAI Vision One has many interesting features."

Cons

"We are looking at a better pricing model to onboard as many customers as possible."
"ThreatMon is very expensive."
"In new versions I would like to see better implementation of the reporting features, especially in regards to EDR visibility."
"Vision One could improve its area networking and email security."
"Improving the user interface would be helpful—it can be confusing, especially if you do not use it daily."
"Stability and reliability in TrendAI Vision One can be improved, but I would rate it as good, around a seven out of ten. I have faced issues, especially regarding stability, and while improvements have been made, I cannot say it is perfectly stable."
"The solution only supports Windows and Mac. It would be helpful if it could support other OS, such as Linux."
"It would be better if it were more user-friendly. It would also be better if the implementation were more straightforward."
"The only drawback is the usual subscription model - unfortunately, prices tend to move upward."
"TrendAI Vision One could bring in more data loss prevention capabilities specifically on the endpoints, as the current offering lacks some important capabilities."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"Trend Micro's cost is higher than other solutions. That is the main reason why we need to switch to another solution."
"I find it to be a cost-efficient platform."
"I do not have much visibility to it. It is definitely not a cheap product, but to my knowledge, it is out there with the big wigs in the industry, such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, and other EDR/XDR vendors. I had heard, and found out eventually, that their sales teams are very flexible, as more sales teams are."
"The price is reasonable. It's not exorbitant. CrowdStrike and other players are on the higher side."
"The pricing for Trend Vision One is reasonable."
"Trend Micro recently switched from a license-based pricing model to a credit system, which caused some initial frustration during my renewal."
"It is definitely not cheap. I do believe you get what you pay for to some degree. It is cost-effective."
"The pricing is competitive, and the cost aligns with the features we receive."
