AI-powered discovery enhances threat visibility while customer support excels
I am a reseller. One of our customers suffered an attack a few months ago, and they discovered that they have some data available on the deep and dark web. The biggest driver for using ThreatMon was takedown services. SIEM integration into their incident response was also essential. They wanted…

Built faster threat response and improved visibility with real-time monitoring and flexible deployment
TrendAI Vision One allows us to monitor attacks in real time, which is a significant benefit. We can quickly see where the attack is coming from. TrendAI Vision One enables us to use different products with a flexible license. For example, if a customer is using endpoint security and wants to switch to another solution, they can instantly use a different Trend Micro product, such as email. TrendAI Vision One has helped to reduce the time to detect and respond to different threats, as it can respond to attacks very quickly. With playbook templates, in cases of recurring attacks, responses can be made quickly using predefined playbooks. TrendAI Vision One has helped to reduce noise from false positives. There have been false positives before, but it was due to the customer not telling us which app they were using. Best practice configurations must be applied properly to avoid such issues. TrendAI Vision One helps customers consolidate the use of security vendors and reduce silos by offering one platform for all product management.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"I would recommend ThreatMon."
"Machine learning or AI discovery, which discovers our resources on the deep and dark web, has been very useful."
"The most valuable feature is the network protection shield on every server, which isolates attacks and prevents our clients from being affected."
"The solution is very easy to use."
"TrendAI Vision One is very effective and very market competitive, which is why we are using it."
"I find the maps particularly helpful. The object list, specifically the suspicious object list, is also quite valuable. You can simply add one object to that list to manage it from another solution."
"The zero-day vulnerability is valuable."
"TrendAI Vision One allows us to monitor attacks in real time, which is a significant benefit, and enables us to use different products with a flexible license, helping to reduce the time to detect and respond to different threats through rapid responses and predefined playbook templates."
"The visibility over everything—over all systems or network and security—has improved us massively."
"It has the feature to track an attack back. If there is an incident or an attack occurs, you can get a bird's eye view of that attack. You can see how the attackers came in and how they managed the attack. You can trace an attack. If you are giving a presentation to the management, you can easily show it to them in a live environment how the attackers came, which is amazing."

Cons

"ThreatMon is very expensive."
"We are looking at a better pricing model to onboard as many customers as possible."
"The support should be improved."
"Improving the user interface would be helpful—it can be confusing, especially if you do not use it daily."
"In comparison to Trellix, one disadvantage of Trend Micro is the DLP feature. Trend Micro has a light DLP, while Trellix offers a perfect DLP."
"Trend Micro doesn't have the next-generation firewall."
"While the continuous addition of features is commendable, the sheer volume of changes makes it difficult to stay abreast of the latest developments."
"It should integrate with more tools. There are a lot of tools that can do the PTP dump."
"We are just having a problem with Trend right now. We have had short problems twice before—in the sense that when Trend does an upgrade on the platform, or anything else, there are disruptions afterwards."
"In TrendAI Vision One, an area that has room for improvement is the DLP policy governance, particularly around data leakage protection."
