A product that is easy to install and offers good stability to users
The API part of the solution is an area in the solution where improvements are made since I see that TIBCO is currently trying to revamp its tool by focusing more on redesigning it. There was a tool called Mashery, which is an API management tool that was acquired by TIBCO. TIBCO Cloud Integration is not a user-friendly tool when it comes to the installation phase or for maintaining the systems since its architecture is really complex. I think in the UK, one of the major telecom providers for whom I had done the infrastructure setup uses TIBCO Cloud Integration. Basically, TIBCO Cloud Integration is a bit difficult to install and manage the platform, but I feel there are improvements in the tool's latest version, especially on the API management side. Instead of moving to the higher version and converting the older version of TIBCO Cloud Integration or the legacy platform covered under TIBCO, they still use it because the architecture is completely different, and the components that the product has are completely different from what the new version of the product offers, making it one of the major reasons why TIBCO is coming up with a new version of the product that will be released in the upcoming year. The legacy platform of TIBCO will run on the cloud directly. TIBCO plans to develop a unified tool that is supported on the cloud and in an on-premises environment.

Offers strong integration capabilities and reliable features but needs pricing and scaling improvements
Many things are evolving with the AI buzz in the market. What I would like to see improved or enhanced in webMethods.io in the future is that since webMethods.io is already under IBM, I think IBM will introduce and integrate AI into it. Additionally, regarding what webMethods.io can improve is the license cost. Other cloud players are also providing the same kind of functionality, such as AWS and Azure. webMethods.io is being installed on-premises, but AWS is providing it directly in the cloud. When comparing the license cost and request per minute cost, webMethods.io needs to address that. There are many competitors in the market for this.

Pricing and Cost Advice

"We don't pay for a license."
"I do think webMethods is coming under increasing pressure when it comes to their price-to-feature value proposition. It's probably the single biggest strategic risk they have. They're very expensive in their industry. They've been raising the price recently, especially when compared with their competitors."
"webMethods.io Integration's pricing is high and has yearly subscription costs."
"webMethods Trading Networks is a bit costly compared to others solutions."
"Pricing is the number-one downfall. It's too expensive. They could make more money by dropping the price in half and getting more customers. It's the best product there is, but it's too expensive."
"webMethods Integration Server is expensive, and there's no fixed price on it because it has a point pricing model. You can negotiate, which makes it interesting."
"I would like to see better pricing for the license."
"It's a good deal for the money that we pay."
"Its cost depends on the use cases."
