Forescout Platform has many features, and my favorite feature is that it has multiple methods to identify or discover the endpoints in your network, rather than focusing on only one technique or one method to identify the endpoints.
Forescout Platform excels in network access control, offering both 802.1x and non-802.1x capabilities for flexible integration. It enhances security with comprehensive device visibility and effective policy enforcement, without requiring agents. While the agentless configuration boosts ease of deployment, complex setup and high licensing costs are drawbacks. Limited third-party integration, slow support, and potential compatibility issues with older devices also challenge the platform's effectiveness for tech buyers.
