What is our primary use case?
I am a developer that develops applications for companies or consultancy, and based on that requirement, I implement different types of ads with Google AdMob.
I work with Google AdMob for interstitial ads or banner ads, especially in FinTech applications, bidding applications, or some entertaining applications, using interstitial ads, banner ads, custom ads, or other bidding options available.
When implementing Google AdMob inside the app, I find targeting based on ad revenue to be the most valuable feature, specifically the startup ads and interstitial ads, which are the main things I use in my applications, as well as the rewarded ads based on the videos that we play.

The most valuable features of Google AdMob's ad formats in enhancing app design and user interaction are the customization options, which I'm looking to expand upon. I particularly prefer the app startup ad types as they provide more revenue compared to other ads, although I mostly use banner or interstitial ads.
What needs improvement?
In my experience, Google AdMob is generally stable, but sometimes there are lags where the ad does not load, and messages indicate the inventory is not complete, which can take around one week to load the real ads.
When integrating the ads with Google AdMob, I initialize the ad and get the original IDs; it provides proper messages in case of errors, but currently, it returns some generic error messages that are not easy to tackle.
I would like to see improvements in Google AdMob, especially regarding error handling; currently, when loading ads, generic type errors are thrown, so providing concrete error details would help developers tackle issues more easily.
I think Google AdMob is scalable but needs to provide better bidding-related features; currently, it is in beta, and if we could add more variety of ads, it would enhance scalability.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have worked with Google AdMob for around four years.

How are customer service and support?
I communicate multiple times with Google AdMob's technical support, and I think they provide good responses that resolve many of my queries, which makes the support sound good.
I would rate the technical support from Google AdMob around nine, or 9.5.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Compared to other vendors and ad companies like Facebook, Google AdMob is more comfortable and easy to use, allowing me to earn from it easily, and the implementation part is also easy compared to other ad solutions.
What other advice do I have?
Google AdMob Mediation helps optimize ad CPM rates for my app because when one ad does not work properly, another ad can work as a mediator, showing the mediation ad; additionally, the fallback feature allows another ad to load if the first does not load quickly.
In Google AdMob, I define code in such a way that allows me to easily change themes or navigation-related elements, which is the kind of customization I need to improve.
AdMob's advanced analytics positively impact my understanding of ad performance, as it adequately describes every detail about how I can use my CPM, which loads ads for which screens or regions, making me happy with that feature.
I don't have much idea about utilizing machine learning for ad placement.
In terms of aligning ads with my app's content and audience, Google AdMob's ad filters effectively help optimize our ads, as filtering aids in pitching ads based on the ad IDs that are optimized, making the process smoother.
My impression of the pricing and licensing cost of Google AdMob is that it is a mix; it can be a little high based on the usage of the ads displayed, but I think it is good to use and not excessively high.
I rate Google AdMob 8 out of 10.
