HPE Nimble Storage's best features are that it's stable and user-friendly.

HPE Nimble Storage could be improved with some critical application or servers. Currently, we have to compensate for this by using flash storage. In the next release, HPE Nimble Storage should include active clusters and a hybrid file service. 

I've been using HPE Nimble Storage for two years.

HPE Nimble Storage is very stable and performs well.

HPE's technical support could be improved, but their response time is quite good, and their remote troubleshooting is quite helpful.

Previously, we used Compellent, but HPE Nimble Storage's performance is far better and faster. We also use Pure Storage in addition to HPE Nimble Storage as it provides more stable, faster performance and active storage on two different sides.

The initial setup was straightforward and took about two weeks to complete.

We used an SI to implement HPE Nimble Storage.

HPE Nimble Storage's price is moderate - I would rate it at three out of five.

I would give HPE Nimble Storage a rating of seven out of ten.

We primarily use Nimble Storage for our production system.

The most useful features are high availability and the storage snapshot backup functionality.

The cost of this storage solution should be lower.

In the future, I would like to see a lower-end model that has Peer Persistence functionality.

The technical support is very good. I can get expert support from an HPE engineer or instead, receive support online.

The initial setup is easy.

The pricing is expensive, although we do not pay anything in addition to the standard licensing fees.

My advice to anybody who is interested in HPE Nimble Storage is that I recommend it for high availability applications. I also suggest that they purchase spare parts for it.

Overall, this product is okay, and my only real complaint is about the cost.

HPE Nimble Storage reach 4:1 compression/deduplicate rate, optimizing used space.

I have found the convergence rate and deduplication the most valuable features.

I rate HPE Nimble Storage a ten out of ten.

We primarily use the solution to connect to the HCI. We try to connect to HCI and share the storage space to a VM farm.

The solution is very fast. It has a replication from Nimble A to Nimble B, which is a high-speed connection.

The solution is quite scalable.

The stability is very good.

It's quite easy to use and the performance is quite good.

The solution should allow for easier configurations.

I've been using the solution for around two years or so at this point. 

The stability is very good. We don't have to deal with bugs or glitches and it doesn't crash or freeze. It's reliable and the performance is good. 

The scalability is there if a company needs to expand. It's not a problem to grow it out.

We have three or four users on the product right now.

We might increase usage in the future.

I haven't really connected with technical support for issues with the product.

I remember one time I requested help from HPE for their info site. They did help and I was satisfied with the level of service I got. 

Previous to this product we just used normal three-tier storage, for example, HPE, MSA, Lenovo, and so on.

In terms of the initial setup, while it is quite easy for the fiber connection, I recall for the ISS connection it was quite complex.

The initial setup itself only took about one day. It didn't take too long. 

The first time we implemented it, we had the help of the HPE team. the second time we did it, we were able to handle the process internally on our own.

We pay a monthly licensing fee.

We are on the latest version of the solution. I can't speak to the exact version number.

I'd recommend it to others as it is quite easy to use and does offer very good performance. However, if you do not have experience with the product, you'll find the configuration process difficult. 

I'd rate the solution at a nine out of ten. We've been pretty happy with its capabilities.

The performance of the solution is excellent. It's the most valuable aspect of the product. The stability is great.

The scalability of the solution is great.

The deployment is fast.

Technical support is helpful. 

It would be ideal if all these enterprise-class high-performance products would come at a cheaper price.

The most valuable feature is the NVMe flash storage.

We would like there to be more enhanced features.

The solution is easy to scale, but there are some limitations. We would like to add more storage but there are certain limitations.

HPE Nimble Storage is more expensive than some of the other solutions, such as Pure Storage. They charge more for every feature than other vendors.

We are not utilizing the maximum functions. We are utilizing the protect facilities. 

HPE Nimble Storage is a good solution. it is useable in a production environment. However, the useability all depends on the environment. After a year if you want to renew the support, or have enhancements it is going to cost you more. Planning is very important.

We have switched from HPE Nimble Storage and we now use Pure Storage.

We are using HPE Nimble Storage of backing up our data.

HPE Nimble Storage is quick to release updates that fix bugs or problems and the failover has been good.

The solution could improve by having more granularity. For example, having the ability to go deeper into specific IO channels or specific latency issues that can happen would be a benefit. HPE has this ability on their side but it would be useful to have it on our side.

Replication reporting is a bit difficult to figure out and could improve in the future. It would be helpful if they had a breakdown detailed report that one could provide to upper management.

We use HPE Nimble Storage for general purposes, not for high performance, just for archiving and backup solutions.

It is easy to use. Not too complicated.
